God damn breaks have me all fucked up but I did watch it. Forget what I said about the 1-Season Show.

Originals is TOO hot right now, holy shit… Lucien on a reign of terror with his new God-Vamp status…he has become the absolute top tier in the show right now. Then on top of that, the smokin’ hot as hell Aurora is back in the mix too…and she could turn God-mode at any point now if they mess up and kill her…then my baby “Davina” continues to be one of the hottest women I’ve ever seen on television…this show is the total package, folks.

…what the FUCK with these constant breaks on tv these days!?! There’s been 2 or 3 already and now there’s another one?! I miss those days when a show would just be on consistently until the season is over. This new deal where they take a break, then come back for 1 new episode only to take another break is some horseshit.

Yeah, it’s extremely confusing. Hell I missed half of Legends of Tomorrow this week because I thought it was on break when it wasn’t.

This shit is confusing. Nothing is on break at the same time so you never know what’s going on break or when.

You guys can watch the episodes On the CW app if you missed them…

Yet another damn 1 week break-- for The Originals this time. I was all set for my usual Friday night vampire double-pack of entertainment excellence…and instead it’s JUST Vamp Diaries. Containment was on in Originals’ place.

Bonus in Containment though— some hot eye candy as usual. My old honey Claudia Black (recently she was Dahlia on Originals season 2; she’s also my girl Sam in Gears of War 3) is in there; I prefer her with dark hair tho.

And thus Limitless finishes its first season and hopefully not its last. The finale wasn’t AS intense as I would’ve liked, but it still got the job done and they definitely brought the setup for Season 2.

I will give the writing team props for not taking the easy road and hooking up Brian and Rebecca, their bond as friends is a very emotional thing and the show wouldn’t be half as good without it. Growing to become each other’s best friend and really have that emotional dependence is somewhat beautiful to watch. Plus it would really shortsell Rebecca since Brian has hooked up with damn near every female side character this season.

Here’s hoping Bradley Cooper gets Season 2 off the ground.

Sooooo totally in love with with Rajs new girlfriend Clare in BBT. Shes exactly my time, hot slightly tomboy looking chick with short hair, seems to give zero fks, and has a slightly hoarse voice. God I love that woman so much.

Containment— ehhhhh this story, man… how many times has the “virus–>quarantine zone” story been done? I doubt anything that happens over the course of that show will be even slightly surprising. Fomer Vampire Diaries bad guy “Kai” happens to star in this show.

***THE ORIGINALS ***is on right now… Cam and Davina look incredible as always. Cami has been bitten by Lucien, so of course if they don’t figure out something soon, she is GONE.

*HOLY SHIT Davina just showed up some kind of party Lucien was throwing, and shut everyone down with a simple wave of her hand…everyone just dropped immediately…top tier magic power, folks.
*edit–but Lucien’s power right now is so game-breaking it’s hilarious… he’s stronger and more dangerous than anyone from the Mikaelson family…AND he has the power of the witch ancestors on his side…so it’s like ordinary magic power really doesn’t matter against him, since it can automatically be “overruled” by the magic of the ancestors

VAMPIRE – I knew Reyna had something else up her sleeve… no way she’d just go for a “deal” like that where the end result is her death. On another note, tonight’s episode was action packed…quite a bit of violence and killing.

Alaric continues to be an embarrassing simp.

I checked out The Man in the High Castle on Amazon and the show is crazy good.The female lead is the dumbest fucking spy ever though. She’s dumb for thinking she can do espionage and not Sully her hands along the way. I found the Nazis on the show more likable than her.

Netflix has given a series order to “Dear White People,” an adaptation of writer and director Justin Simien’s 2014 feature film of the same name. Simien will write all 10 half-hour episodes and direct the premiere. The series will begin production later this year and debut worldwide on Netflix in 2017.

“Dear White People” tells the story of a diverse group of students of color experiencing campus life at a fictional Ivy League university dominated by white students. Devon Shepard will serve as executive producer alongside Stephanie Allain Bray and Julia Lebedev, who exec produced the film.

The series will be produced by Lionsgate Television, which also produces “Orange Is the New Black” for Netflix. Lionsgate’s Roadside Attractions released the original movie.

“Justin is a gifted storyteller whose bold, unique vision is perfectly suited to Netflix,” said Cindy Holland, vice president of original content at Netflix. “His original film ‘Dear White People’ announced the arrival of a fresh, creative voice that had everyone talking, and we’re excited to have Justin create this new series for our members worldwide.”

“We’re proud to expand our partnership with our friends at Netflix on a comedy that tackles racial themes with a combination of intelligence, honesty, irreverence and wit,” said Chris Selak, executive vice president, television, Lionsgate Television. “Our original film with Roadside Attractions catapulted ‘Dear White People’ into the national conversation about race, and Justin and the rest of the creative team have an opportunity to expand this world and bring its timely and universal themes to a global television audience.”

The film version of “Dear White People” began life in 2012 as a concept trailer, which Simien paid for with his tax refund. The crowd-funded movie went on to win the U .S. dramatic special jury award for breakthrough talent at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.

“During the film’s release, I had the pleasure to speak with hundreds of students and faculty across a variety of college campuses dealing with these very issues in real time,” Simien said. “I’m so grateful to have this platform — not only to give a voice to those too often unheard in our culture, but to also tell great stories from new points of views. From day one, Lionsgate has been remarkably supportive of the vision for the show, and working with Netflix is every bit as harmonious as I’d imagined it would be. Bringing this show to such a vibrant platform is an honor I don’t take lightly.”

Sheeeeit, I’m about 3 seasons behind on Supernatural… this is despite the fact that I still love that show.

Vampire – Alaric continues to be possibly the biggest sap in the CW universe… in another embarrassing moment on tonight’s episode—he told Caroline on the phone he loved her…her reaction was something like “I know” <-- she did NOT say “I love you too.” Terrible, man. He settled for THAT…married to a broad that so clearly does not love him. That’s a damn shame, man.
