HEMLOCK GROVE—My old honey Famke J. is still holding on to that hotness, imo, despite the effects of time. I’d still pounce without question.
Story-wise, I don’t really care for Shelley’s little subplot they have going on here in season 3. Everything else is more interesting. This apparent final season is also short so it feels like they wasted time with that…perhaps they couldn’t think of anything better or more relevant to do with her character, I guess.
Also-- Dr. Price is one of the best characters in recent tv history.
I knew what I was getting into when I started watching The Player, but now I’m finished with the 9th episode.
Damn! Damn! DAMN! It had to be a serious cliffhanger didn’t it? That episode left me wanting more and now knowing it was cancelled right then and there pissed me off. No 13 episodes to possibly tell a self-contained story with a improvised season finale, it’s now an itch that I can never scratch.
When I say “Better Late Never” I say it with the least asshole-ish intent possible, the show is amazing. I’m glad when anyone discovers it, it’s not exactly underrated but still doesn’t get the credit it deserves.

Holy shit…the end of episode 7 on Hemlock Grove season 3 :wow: Things got heated but I didn’t expect it to go THAT far… well this is apparently the last season so a show should definitely be going all out with the shock value then… I was speechless…true jaw-dropper moment for real.
Last episode of Fargo was hilarious.
Peggy turned into some G shanking dudes with kitchen knives for using bad language :lol:

Hemlock Grove season 3… I’m up to episode 9 now, 1 more to go. Once again they go all out-- this time 2 major characters getting killed. I will definitely miss this show, even though I realize I am one of maybe 25 people in the world that enjoyed and appreciated how insane it all is. It’s kind of like a Twilight Zone episode that became a series.
fargo episode was good except that ufo part. that shit was fucking stupid.
Sadly, Vampire Diaries/The Originals combo will be moving to …FRIDAY NIGHTS. I guess they had to get it away from Thursday since the competition on that night is ridiculous… but Friday night has traditionally been The Television Graveyard… like a black hole where you are unlikely to return.
I think Supernatural managed to survive Friday night one season…?
That Originals “winter finale” though… shit has hit the fan big time. Nik in particular might reach a whole new level of Rage-Mode™ after this. Heh, like he said in an earlier episode when he was about to kill the shit out of Tristan when he was a normal human 1000 years ago-- “This will NOT be pleasant.” in the cool accent. That guy [Joseph Morgan] gets so many great lines and he knows how to give the perfect delivery of that dialogue. He was born to play this character. I really cannot get enough of this show. It’s a show where almost everyone is a villain.
…I just thought of it though…where the hell is my honey Davina? I think it’s been 2 or even 3 episodes since she has been on.
The Originals: Klaus is cool, but Elijah is number one. Dude is suave and calm in a suit, even when he’s threatening to tear someone from limb to limb. He gets underestimated because he seems like the tame brother, until someone decides to fucking cross him.
Also Claire Holt has some ridiculous lips on her, don’t know if I should thank god or her surgeon.
Vampire Diaries: Why the fuck did Stephan have to kidnap ol’ girl? I know they did it to lure Julian out of hiding, but it seemed so damn short-sighted to not think her girlfriend wouldn’t find out and get revenge. It was just sheer stupidity to make that kind of plan in the first place, like why would you give that guy a chance to gain back such a powerful ally in the first place?
Supernatural: They had a good winter finale. They seriously brought back Lucifer into the mix, and really used that special effects budget to the fullest with Amara/The Darkness. They actually showed the angels using their combined heavenly power to smite someone, and it did not disappoint.
Grimm is on its 5th (?) season and it airs on Friday. I think the key to Friday’s is knowing whose watching on a Friday. Mostly geeks, nerds, and hardcore fanbases. Sci-fi has usually done very well on Friday nights. If CBS is smart, they’d air that new Trek show on Friday. People WILL make time for something like that.
