I stopped watching after maybe season 3? I dont really know what really happens later on but I think they spent too much time dragging out some thing but some of the more intersting characters (a girl that can physically copy literally anything she sees getting 2 eps vs sylar fucking around somewhere for the 10000th time -___-)
It was cool when it was the only superhero type show around but now the markets flooded with them
Hiiiiirrrrrooooo!!! LOL, this show was THE shit back then, got boring by the 4th season onward. hopefully, this can be better this time around. sylar was mean as fuck at the start but then again he came out lol
To each their own, but this show jumped the shark in season 2, easily, and season 3 was out of this world garbage. It was equal to season 1 strain, which is some of the worst tv ever. Season 1 heroes in hindsight, was fairly stupid too, and poorly written.
Heroes is definitely not worth even having nostalgia goggles for. Iām a sucka for superhero shows, but that series was so out of control stupid. lol

The wasted potential was tragicā¦so many problems with that showā¦but Iām cautiously optimistic, mainly because I like having as much superhuman/supernatural stuff on as I can get. Realism tends to be boring trash, imoā¦ bring on the superheroes, supervillains, ghosts, demons, vampires and werewolves, aliens, robots, time-traveling, alternate dimensionsā¦ all of that stuff is delicious to meā¦fantasy is way more interesting and entertaining than reality ever will be, imo.
Hopefully they get it right with Heroes this timeā¦ Iām already wondering if there will be another person on there that can steal other powers and is thus inherently overpowered as hell againā¦ I also enjoyed the concept of āThe Haitianā's ability to cancel out super-human abilities.
*sidenoteāit just randomly hit meā all 6 or 7 people that watch Beauty & the Beast should get caught up if you still give a shit about that show since it is apparently on the list of shows that Netflix is cutting loose in July. (*and hardly anything on the line-up of new stuff looks appealing to meā¦ Netflix needs to step up their game, man.)
*Oh and itās still surprising to me that CW is bringing it backā¦ that showās numbers were starting to dip in the most recent season (Season 2, if I recall?)ā¦then they had it off or āon hiatusā for what seemed like a few centuriesā¦and suddenly they decided to bring it back. Well, at least this means we get more Kristin Kreukās cuteness on screen, along with that woman that plays her friend/partner. Speaking of Heroes, āMohinderā happens to be on this show as well.

With the quality of newer shows in the superhero genre needing to step up to AOS/ Agent Carter levels of coherence (at least), Heroes Reborn needs to be there to hang with the rest of them.

Well, since TV is kind of dead to me at the moment, I started watching Vampire Diaries season 1 againā¦first time Iāve seen it since it was newā¦quite a few things I forgot even happenedā¦heh, Tyler was seeming like he might rape Vicki (or Nikki?) Donovan for a moment until Jeremy intervenedā¦ back then, Tyler was being portrayed as an asshole jock stereotype, basicallyā¦ also, Jeremy was a scrawny, druggy loser back thenā¦itās hilarious shit, man. Also, āAunt Jennaā was still there, and Caroline actually seemed interested in Steffan before Elena even noticed himā¦interesting considering whatās been going on in the most recent season.
Also, Damon was a much more threatening character at the timeā¦like he was actually the villain of the show, causing trouble. One interesting thing they apparently droppedā Damon somehow caused the fog and the crows flying aroundā¦implying the vamps had some other magical powers (magic conjuration or illusions?) thereā¦ sadly I donāt think this was ever brought up again. Quite a bit has changed on this show since those early days. Ooooh and I just remembered Tylerās mom was still on at the timeā that woman was such PRIME cougar material right there.
One thing that is always kind of unbelievable on shows and movies with vampiresāthe fact that people find out and donāt immediately want to become thatā¦ Iād bet money that if such creatures were real, people would be willing to give up entire life savings to get turned. Vamps would be making serious money on the whole thing as a result, and the world would eventually become mostly populated with themā¦which would probably lead eventually to overcrowding once you have entire nations of people that happen to be immortal.
