This movie was miles better than the apparently spoiled posters who saw it in theaters led us to believe. Beat the shit outta the Chinese Jin/white Christie tekken movie. Enjoyable movie. Only disappointment was there was no 360/720 torso rotations from Alisa during her chainsaw fight with Xiaoyu. And Lee was creepy as hell. Maybe he got lobotomized. Funny thing I noticed: Kazuya’s english VA gives the trademark “Doryaa!” during the fight with Jin and Heihachi when he does the ewgf. The japanese VA just gives a generic kiai during the same scene. Interesting…
Like I said before, Blood Vengence > live action Tekken movie.
This movie was a waste of 5Gb.
I don’t watch kung fu movies for the plot, but I expect them to make a tiny bit of sense.
And to not bore me half to death.
And to not focus on the WORST characters in the game.
And to not introduce a plot character who winds up doing fuck-all.

Thankfully in TTT2, Devil Jin and Devil Kazuya have alternate costumes where they more resemble their older devil incarnations. I happen to like both the older and newer designs.

I thought the movie was great, watched it with JP VA. I feel sorry for anyone who watched it in English though, what a terrible dub.

Also what was the point of Shin? He tried to act all badass and Heihachi kicked his ass in 2 seconds. Why would any of the Mishimas bother with this guy? The Mokujin gundam also was random as hell.

The idea behind Shin was that he had the hybrid devil gene that Heihachi wanted but i guess having the mokujin power was better.

In fact, that should be the whole movie in a nutshell - silly and cheesy (with some pointlessness in between). I did like the Mishima 3 way fight and at least they got Lee saying his trademark Excellent + thumbs up.
