Watched this today. Movie is ass accept for the 3-way. I woulda been just fine with the Mishima’s beating the shit out of each other for an entire hour. Best fight scene I’ve seen in a long time
we all watched this for fights now some weird ass multiple storyline thread not related to the actual game.
I used the torrent option in your link…
Exactly. I watched thinkin it would tie in to the eventual Tekken 7, but it didn’t. And I thought Shin would turn out to be awesome, but he was the opposite. Didn’t even get to see what he was capable of. Next time Namco, more punching, less talking.
Shit, I would have payed full price to watch that for the length of this cinematic abortion.
I’m not asking for a lot from my fighting game movies! Make the characters we know and love hit each other for 2 hours! We’ll fill in the plot by ourselves!
i wanted 3 fuckin things.
1.steve fox fuckin someone up
- a coherent explanation to tekken 6 plotlines…since half of them were jokes
3.angry ass kazama’s fuckin eachother up
Seriously, of all the interesting characters they have, they chose LING AND ALISA as the main characters? Really? REALLY? (Miz voice)
REALLY?!-seth meyers
I like how in a fight scene involving Kaz, Hei, & Jin, not a single Godfist or Hellsweep was to be seen. I think someone may have done Stonehead, but I don’t fucking remember. Fight may as well have been between 3 random anime dudes.
Best thing about this shitstain was the Lee sightgag…until they ran that into the ground by repeating it 3 more times.
Tekken movie expectation: Cool fight scenes and all your favourite characters
Tekken movie reality: Rivals in love, homo showers, and girls talking about being in love with boyz for 1 hr
I remember in whatever fucking tekken it was bryan is ripping a tank apart with his hands in the intro
So why is this movie all feelings and gayshit?
You can see where they fucked up by watching the director commentary and his reasons for choosing non-popular shitty characters like ling and ganny.
For those of us that don’t have it, can you explain?
Sure, the reason the director chose weak female characters were because he wanted them to go from weak at the beginning of the movie to strong at the end compared to the already strong established characters but still, no one cares about weak character progression, we just want to watch a tournament of our favorite bad asses fighting each other heh.
