PM to a link where I could DL/Watch?
if you know anything about roger…thats how he really rolls. maybe its just a viral video for tekken.
It’s in theaters here, trying to gather friends so we can MST3K this in the theater.
I was thinking the same, timing is rather convenient
lol what the hell did i just watch?
that was so awful :shake:
It’s in the Philippines? I haven’t seen it in theaters but maybe I’ll look again.
Yes, it opened yesterday. Jon Foo was in the country over the past weekend, as well.
This isn’t a good movie, but its not bad either, its somewhere inbetween. Fights were overall quite boring, I’m blaming the director for this because Cyril Raffaelli did the cheography and theres no way he’d produce such boring fights. It shit all over street fighter legend of chun li though.
I’m impressed by Jon’s acting. Hope to see him in big better movies now.
Christe’s ass was god tier, wish they showed that more at the end, then I would have forgotten about the previous hour.
HEALTH WARNING: Ending is so cheezy.
Who would win in a dance off, Chun Li or Christie
Is Christie still a white woman in this?
absolute shit doesnt describe it well enough. i have no words
i dunno. if that was not bad i don’t wanna know. i love trash movies but this was just uhhhh
anybody stayed after the credits? i think they are seriously gasp aiming for a second part!
My videogame movie benchmark for shit is Legend of Chun Li. The last Tekken game I played was T3, so I didn’t watch it as a fan. Maybe if I loved the franchise as much as SF I’d be really pissed. There are more negatives than positives but unlike Legend of Chun Li, it did more to stay true to the franchise. I was happy to watch it just to pass the time.
yeah well i love tekken so it pained more i guess. even my friend who watched 20 min with me said it was horrible.
Yeah, I’m as disappointed as everyone else that this wasn’t The Dark Knight of fighting game movies, but I wouldn’t call it awful beyond redemption (that’s reserved for Legend of Chun Li and the KoF movie). If you’re on SRK, you probably like video games and fighters, so you should get some amusement out of a fighting game adaptation, even though the story is a joke and the production values are direct-to-video quality. It’s like the producers knew this was gonna be complete cheese, so may as well save it with some decent fighting and fanservice. Compared to other video game movies… it ain’t that bad.
I will say it’s a genuine disappointment that the actors didn’t mimic their character’s fighting style more closely… other than the costumes and minor bio factoids, there’s hardly any resemblance.
I’d lick Christie’s asscrack
lol you all are lying if you try to tell me lateef crowder didnt fucking capoeira his ass off.
For 90 seconds, sure.
He did, but it’s not like he has done it any differently from his other movie appearances. His fight was not memoriable, although that could be entirely blamed for the director’s lack of creativity in filming fights.
what’s up with all the ju jitsu and weapons in this movie??
I’m sure we can all agree this was the best part of the movie.

Better than Legend of Chun Li and the DOA movie. Still not very good.
Worst part about this movie is that it’s pretty bad but it’s not “so bad it’s good.” It’s in that middle ground that makes it really forgettable.
