I agree with you on representation but they took the capos out the game cause of the changes to the oki system. It’s also why lei isn’t in the game right now either, but he is rumored to be dlc.
I was under the impression they took capos out because they either
A) Hate balancing them
B) Suck to fight against
E) Can make a better rep for that area (Katarina depending on how you wanna see it)
D) Aren’t popular online (I don’t actually know)
E) Were over used offline because Tag
or
F)cking all those somehow idk. If they can add both bears anythings possible though I guess.
Edit: Real talk though I’d rather have this guy over capos
As a black guy I really couldn’t give a shit about there being no black males in the game. They have had representation in the past and there is a black female which is even more rare 2 see. I hate how they r trying 2 push equality into video games nowadays “oh there isn’t any LGBT or female leads in this game, we must petition” if the creator wants to put them in and it adds to the story thats fine but no creative medium, games, movies etc… should b forced to include certain eqaulities just 2 please people.
How else are you supposed to get representation in games then, cause I’m sure if it was up to most developers most characters would probably just end up white. Fans asking is exactly how we got rashid and josie, so I don’t really see anything wrong with making a game more culturally diverse when the same traits that a white character has could be applied to a character of another race.
You mean Shaheen? 'Cause I’m pretty sure Rashid was rather made to please Middle Eastern investors.
Also Josie might be from the Philippines but she doesn’t look or sound any different than a Southern European or a Latin American. I even thought she was straight American the first time I saw her because of her look and her voice. She surely isn’t particularly “exotic” in a game where they hired international (or fake international) VAs to make their characters speak other languages.
Ur right there isn’t anything wrong with a game being more cultural diverse but there is a difference between suggesting a character idea from a unique cultural background to telling someone they have to add someone to fill a quota. If there was never any cultural representation in any of they Tekken games then yeah sure the debate would make sense but Tekken is pretty diverse and the fact of the matter is you cannot please everyone. There have been black males in the past and now we have a black female. So imo I just think it’s not something complain about but to each his own
I feel it has more to do with the incompatibility of Western and Japanese culture. Idols, teeny boppers, and oversexualized characters are the butts of jokes in the West, but are a cultural phenomenon in Japan. To me personally going from Enter the Dragon’s Fight Club atmosphere to a new season of World War III anime guest starring Akuma is just unpalatable.
I don’t play Kazuya (the only thing resembling Mishimas I play is Jin), but my friends are baffled at my Electric execution on characters I don’t play. Might just be how I hold the stick (I don’t know what your preferred grip is, but I hold mine in the gap between fingers and thumb, with my hand open. I’m told it’s a little unusual).
The only real advice that helped ME when I initially looked into their execution was sort of forcing the button press to come earlier during the input so it’s right on the money for the JF. I find if I ‘mentally’ press it when I hit the d, my hands respond and complete the press on the df. But everyone’s got their own perfect way of doing it. Your way of executing it on the P2 side sounds pretty much ideal, if it works for you and feels natural… It’s not quite reversed for P1- in my case, I push f with my middle and ring fingers, then return to neutral and use them again to maneuver the stick to df.
Maybe this indicates Julia/Jaycee, Miharu, Jun, and Mokujin getting in
Mokujin and Julia/Jaycee (specifically Julia) will be in game according to the leak list, so perhaps Miharu and Jun will be the 2 season pass characters alongside Eliza. Although Jun is a classic character so maybe not her.
I play on pad and can do EWGF on stick as well as pad when i borrowed my friends stick
srk motion helps as long as you arent trying to wavedash/lightdash into it
your hand rolls into the motion before you button press.
eventually you get the feel of it but you wanna trying hitting 2 as the stick is at the down the command and is rolling to down forward
some may think its overcompensating but more in likely you button press is too far after you hit the down forward motion.
Also for kazuya you wouldnt do the SRK motion if you are trying to get the Perfect EWGF
which is forward, neutral, down forward and 2 at the same time.
kazuyas Perfect EWGF is 13 frames unlike the others which are 14 frames.
and if you do that you can do counterhit DF 2 to ewgf which does 63 damage alone
my friend who i play does this
and this is him (right side)… i play with him every week cross town
he does perfect ewgf at the end of this video (its on pad and im trying to move like this but im inconsistent)
It makes no sense. Bamco still developing Tekken Tag 2 in that year before they continue to Tekken 7 4 years later to release this current arcade game on the next year 2015 <8(
