No, thatās her unique trait - she needs to suck blood from the opponent or else she falls asleep as she drains her energy by using specials. In TekRev I suppose thereās a set amount of specials you can do before sheās zzZZzz for a few seconds. But in T7 thereās now a clear indication of that with a meter on screen, and as she sucks blood - her boobs slowly increase in size
This is why you shouldnāt trust Japanese devs. When you have a dumb idea they will actually put it in the game.

Bruce- Was never really popular to begin with, and niggas you got Bryan. Plus Josie (who technically replaces him if you donāt count Bryan IIRC) isnāt even white.
Raven- Master Raven. Plus youād tap that too and you know it
Marduk- Australian and not even that dark skinned. His moves were absorbed by King so their in a better place now.

Decided to actually see if I could get some of Kazuyaās shit down, since the character is pretty much perfect for me playstyle-wise and looks really cool. So the EWGF-grind is on. Hoo boy.
Currently Iām getting it like 15% of the time on P1-side, but Iām up at probably 60% on P2-side. Somehow both the button timing and the crouchdash-input itself is much more problematic for me on P1 than on P2; in particular itās a lot easier to get the neutral input in f, n, d/f when Iām on P2 (Iām using my thumb for the f, then release the stick and input d/f with my middle finger).
Anyone else got any experience or particular advice with EWGF?
No this shit is legitimately irksome to me.
Black people barely get any representation in games, let alone fighters. Tekken used to be pretty good about it compared to most. It felt nice to see some representation thatās not some kind of goofy caricature (Dee Jay). Bruce and the chicken thing is cringeworthy at times, but none of them are used for comic relief as frequently as Paul, Law, or Bob.
Eddyās has a very unique moveset and is undeniably a classic character. Ask anyone whose ever touched a Tekken game and they could probably identify him among the cast over a lot of others. When I was still at the university with a setup for T6, he was commonly chosen.
Replacing him with an idol character (whose design is absolutely ATROCIOUS) is a good way to alienate the people who originally liked his character design.
At least Raven got replaced with what is essentially just a gender swap. Everything about the original Raven (color scheme, demeanor, tattoo, etc.) is still thereā¦just in a differently wrapped package.
But LC is a complete 180 to Eddyās character. Theyāre not even remotely related and itās extremely jarring. Absolutely NOTHING that I liked about him or could identify with is present in her character. Why would I not be pissed? Itās like how a lot of Kilik players were turned off from SCV because Xiba was lame as fuck. Like her inclusion doesnāt bother me nearly as much as her taking the spot of a better, more recognizable character. Itās not like they couldnāt just revamp his moveset to accommodate the adjustments made in 7 but Namco gotta Namco.
Also none of you fuckers have any kind of argument against Capos besides a bunch of bitching because you donāt know the match-up. Almost every character in the game has a move that can prevent him from going into RLX.
Bruce is in the top 10 on the TTT2 character usage rank on the Tekken.net site for Asia. Heās higher than Jin lol
Who the fuck cares about Bryan??? He isnāt black nor does he share any similarities with Bruce. They donāt share a single move.
Josie is pretty fucking lame. They had a decent concept idea but they executed it terribly. And who cares if she isnāt white? You are missing the point entirely. They needlessly canned him for no reason especially after doing a fine job revamping his moveset in T6.

I think sheās cool, though. One of the few newcomers that isnāt total ass.
His complexion matches up well with Australian Aborigines. Plus the dreadlocks customization he had in T5 makes me identify him as a non-white.
All King got was ONE string. None of the really good shit like d4, db2, uf3, d24 and so on.
Marduk was also a pretty unique character. They could have just given Miguelās moves to Gigas if they wanted a big mindless brute as Miguel just fights like a caveman. Marduk at least had a few MMA moves originally before they slapped a bunch of pro wrestling stuff in there.

Armor King and King were I think the most popular team in TTT2 usage wise. Maybe not in tourneys but overall.
That aside itās I was partly joking, because it doesnāt really affect me or bother me too much. However, Armor King is a black jaguar and I will fight you to death on that. You canāt claim Armor King.
Btw for the Marduk/King connection I was speaking historically. King usually took moves from Armor King and even got a couple from Marduk after he was introduced.
