Anna and Lei aren’t the most popular characters, but we are talking about characters that are over 20 years strong in a franchise. They matter.
I think I will wait until sales and character usage numbers are available a couple of months after console release to conclude what is liked where.

You can tell they threw that bitch in with minimal effort. She’s an actual joke character, which is why it’s so funny to me that people are pissed off about a dancing bear. Kuma is a comedic novelty character that’s been around since 1995. Eliza is just some otaku hoe to appease people who like post '90s anime (i.e. garbage).
Bringing back the bears is some minimal effort shit dawg. I dont even want to get into the rest of what you said because it sounds like some dumb shit.

Yep but that old shit was never really that interesting to watch and tbh playing it was getting tiresome. Supers and stuff aren’t just in SF, they’re in basically every fucking fighter, so for me seeing Super moves in an fg is nothing. Seen it all before, been through the process of realising when to bait them and whatnot. Most of Tekken 7s hype and anticipation comes from when one or both players are sitting on Rage.
I don’t want to be playing the same ol’ Tekken for years anyway, change is good when implemented right and I think it is.

Seeing the layout of the portraits, does that open up at least 8 or even 10 characters for the console port? Or is that just wishful thinking? Minus one of course for the Kuma/Panda addition (I assume they’ll be one slot and alternate like Lee/Violet)
There is some yet to be announced event in January that should bring some light on the rest of the roster or release date. Product description from multiple sources states “over 30 characters” and 35 are already revealed. At most 4 more will appear for launch roster (until additional DLC comes further down the road).
If you put Panda and Kuma next to Bryan and Feng Wei, my guess is we’ll get 4 more characters with 4 as dlc.
