I went to Super Arcade last Friday, which is an arcade Mike Watson runs here. The overall level of the tekken competition is so much higher now, a lot of the newer players who started in Tekken 7 around here have leveled up. I played MYK’s Kazuya and was amazed at his movement.
Love Julia.
Here’s a sick advance combo video I found.
not really surprising with her mixups and that strange long range low poke into small laucher. havent touched her just played against her but mother kazumi seems to be still the only “honest” girl in the game
@Naeras
since you did or still do some tourney stuff you might want to look into the new dojo format. when you manage to get 16 people into the tourney you can make it a official twt event.
The Namcops actually phoned my TO-partner and explicitly asked us to do dojo events lol. We’re holding nationals in two weeks so we’ve got our hands full with that right now, but we’ll be doing dojo events guaranteed.
Man, the rank inflation since s1 seems ridiculous. I used to be stuck in orange, and now I’m facing red ranks that don’t stand a chance against my Leo. People are losequitting hard and the waiting times are long. This is gonna be a slow climb :<
On the bright side, I just hit a friend of mine with 4 EWGFs in the same combo when I was messing around with Kazuya again. Tekken crashed as soon as that game ended. It was too much dourya to for the game to handle.
Yeah the rank inflation is real
it only gets harder to find legit people as you go up too because people see the shiny new rank and they ether plug, leave or lag lol some are clearly boosters
since it takes so long to find matches and life happens I rarely play ranked anymore and stick to player and quick matches.
only make the push every once in a while my jin is at Raijin and my devil jin and heihachi are sitting at fujin
on the plus side our regional event is gonna be a TWT dojo event. I played jin for about 5 months straight. hence I used him more at our tournaments too some success and why he is at raijin instead of my main: Devil Jin.
I feel he is a competent enough secondary so for now im gonna move back to Devil jin and play him for the long run im gonna use him everywhere offline sessions, tournaments, playermatches ranked. long sets etc. luckily he has alot of footage from qudans/knee to further grow I really wanna be prepped for combo breaker and the regional coming up in the spring summer as well as some other tournaments to come!
so how does that work then as a dojo event. do you get mentioned on theire website, do you have to stream to be part of it. do they actually contribute something to the tournament itself?
they just have the points the tournament has to have it least 16 people but you can move it up to 96 and have registered as a dojo event. The less people the less amount of points though. dojo events are mentioned for the tournament on the smashgg but not the TWT site from what im seeing.
the devil jin pick is working I seem to be steadily getting back in sync
I won our monthly tournament this past sunday running devil jin the whole way through landing wavedash into instant ws2 was hype and changed the way my comp had to block. I won 3-1 in the second set of GF
just gotta keep working and watching as much qudans/knee/others as I can lol. good players around the world use him
by the time this season gets going I wanna be able have a free fluid flow with the character. formless yet stable and powerful!

do you have any smash gg brackets for the norway tourney? watching the finals right now and wonder how the drag player got into losers due to him raping the other dude.
