Why the fuck would I use it in real matches? The whole point of playing ranked or player matches is seeing if I have learned from what I researched in training mode.

i mean yeah you would know from then one what can be punished but idc
you still have to do the ground work of learning you character punishes and deciding in real time which one is the best one
you may see something thats -13 and know that kazuya can punish it optimally with a launch but can you do it and react to it properly in real time
those are 2 totally different things.

you never learn the right way using that app. decision making moves in this game too fast better to get it into muscle memory and adapt in real time

We got shit like Discord now. TZ doesn’t really see use outside of the odd dump of info (no guarantee of said info being legit however).
Yeah but discord sucks really bad and basically all discords die in a week or two. It ain’t anything more than irc with a nicer interface and isn’t gonna replace nothing.
Hmm the Tekken Discord I’m in is pretty active (even though I don’t really post in it) but it’s basically just the UK Tekken community.
As for like character specific Discords, ain’t really used one except when I was learning Flash in Inj2, and it was more helpful than the TYM Flash forum (where the players legit just whined about how hard it is to win with Flash).
So yeah Discord, still better than TZ forums.
