What I meant is that I felt less delay in games. 4 bars on PC felt better than 4 bars on PS4 and sadly I can’t give concrete evidence because it is just the impression I had with my 5 hours session yesterday.
I don’t know if I would say PS4 is “bad”. Just that PC felt much better and the difference in load times does a lot to improve the experience overall.
I’d like to assume a lot of that is due to PS4 users having more WiFi players. And the PS4 WiFi adapter is really bad, PC players can at least get good WiFi adapters or most are hardwired.
I’m on WiFi with a good WiFi card and WiFi booster, I just played @Larthy for a couple hours and we had no issues and the connection was super clean.
A dude made an ingame frame data mod.
No more tabbing out and checking rbnorway and scrolling through shit:
Fuck Harada for not including that shit.
“Takes away the fun of exploration” my ass. Who the fuck who’s actually interested in playing the game and not number crunching explores frame data by himself? We all just fucking look for a sheet on google and read.
Can you give us the definition of “cheat” that you are using? Not trying to be an ass but in situations like this, arguments can be started all because people aren’t on the same page when a buzzword is used. I’m assuming you dont mean “break the rules”.
following frame data like text book opens you to mixups, and it’s not 100% accurate unless you test it.
Two situations I encountered last week:
It’s like you block paul’s ff+4, data says it’s like -2 to +4 on block…All I know is almost anything I do will open me up to being counter hit WS+3,2…which is what happened.
Knowing that Paul players would do this a few times to see how you react…by the 3rd or fourth blocked f,F+4, followed by blocked ws+3,2 you can be damn sure that Paul is gonna demolition man you into the wall…possibly a FAT Deathfist right afterward… So what happened to me was I got demolitioned man a few times and eventually I blocked it. know for damn sure, the first instance I blocked the demolition man…I know he is thinking about doing a deathfist the next time I block a FF+4 (fear of WS+3,2 to fear of Demolition man), even though I could easily jab him out of it.
Hwoarang’s RFF 3~4, supposedly puts me (Hwoarang) at +4 or 5…and you can visually see the guard stun on the animation.
My d/f+1 is 13 frames…technically I should be able to beat 10 frame jabs afterward but I was losing to Dragonuv’s 1,2 jabs afterward unless I did my own 1,2 jabs.
Frame data wise and visually you should almost always continue blocking after blocking RFF 3~4, I started going for 1,2 jabs and then Dragonuv armor broke through me…#mindgames
Can’t confirm but it seems so
It’s just a 3rd party overlay so it should work while the game is running
Pretty much this exactly
People on Reddit say by the time you block and look up it’s too late to punish
Sure possibly
Worst case you’ll punish but not an optimal punish
Either way , you are getting damage not based of your knowledge or reactions but based on a 3rd party program and against another live player that is possibly playing without any aid
That alone is cheating
Another instance is people who don’t even give a fuck about what the move looks like or whatever
They’re just gonna do their stuff and when it’s not their turn? Hold back, look up, wait to block, and punish instantly and accordingly
This is a really bad app for the community and it’s players
I’m all for it if it works only on CPU or in training
But against other players this is flat out cheating
Like I said
By definition, if you are using a 3rd party program to give yourself any kind of edge or advantage, you are cheating.
No ifs ands or buts
I know that it’s a good way to learn frame data but the way that it can be abused is really unfair to players who don’t use it
I mean if you’re using that kind of mod it insinuates you’re unsure with frame data, so I assume punishing would be kind of hard if you don’t know your own data much. But still, it’s an outside contributor that gives you a clear advantage, so it’s definitely cheating if you use it online.
I’d say play me beforehand, I have no packet loss and my set-up just doesn’t allow me to be hardwired. I’ve put work into making it as good a WiFi connection as possible. The add-ons are expensive, good internal WiFi cards cost a decent amount too.
Not all WiFi is ass, it’s not as good as being hardwired but you won’t notice any downsides playing me over someone hardwired. I’ll probably lag if I ever start downloading something without my knowing though, happened earlier.
