I love one of the non-English commentators. He sounds like a tiny alien living inside a humanâs head, who doesnât want to commentate too loudly, just so he doesnât wake up neighbors in the building. Itâs kinda adorable.
I got too used to americans shouting their lungs out.
Anyone who says frame data isnt important to learning the game is a fucking moron and a bad game designer, PERIOD. It would be almost like someone making a boardgame but leaving out important rules of how to play or to figure out conflicts. Youâd get crucified for that petty ass shit! You want to bring new people in and keep the hype? Give them the resources to understand how to play your game and shut the hell up about âexploring the gameâ. this isnt the 90s arcade experience anymore. nobody does that shit, even if you want them to.
did you do it because you wanted to, or did you do it because you HAD to? And before you say âI would have learned it through training mode anyway.â it still amounts to âIm learning the rules of the game! Whee!â which goes back to my point. Its one thing if youre trying to understand where you went wrong with your defense against certain characters or move properties. Its an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT thing when were talking basic ass information that should be readily presented to you regarding your characterâs abilities and moveset. That shit should be front and center. ESPECIALLY in 2017 when every fighter is trying to compete for your money and viewing time.
Yo are some strings unparryable? Fighting this leo who keeps doing a 3 hit string that ends in a low, itâs safe on block and Iâve played them like 12 rounds and I canât parry this fucking thing. Canât SS it, canât Korean backdash away from it. Its like this never ending pressure I canât do anything about.
No frame data or expansive tutorial in a game as memorization/jargon filled as T7 with an era of casuals that want super spoon fed tutorials is retarded. Nothing but retarded.
If this game had cross play it would have been the true savior. Been too busy to play much anything lately let alone this game, but whenever I do get to play Iâll mash with Jack 7 or something until Marvel hits.
You can low parry that, if you mean that quick stomp on your feet she/he does from standing position, that comes from her knee up stance.
Itâs just not a good idea. Itâs negative on hit, doesnât do much damage and she can opt for a launcher from that string that you canât block if you went for the low parry.
Sure I agree
But weâre past that point and now everyone has many options for frame data
I think they should do something about the bad online options like 1-1, no ft3/5/10 in lobbies, tournament lobby issues, and connection issues
1-1 in ranked is fine imo because of how intense and easy to win/lose it is right now. like if i had to play a 2 out of 3 of a 3 out of 5 in T7 in its current form, I probably wouldnt bother. if RAs werent in it I might be OK with it maybe. Tournament issues I dont understand either. but at 2000 matches to unlock everything, it basically amounts to âsoon this will be pointlessâ.
That one was annoying, but the one Iâm talking about is like a double spin kick followed by a hop that ends in a low sweep. I guess the meat of my question is if some blockstrings cannot be parried. I ask because a couple of days ago I kept low parrying a string from hwoarang pretty much 100% of the time, but with this one I couldnât so it once even after like 30 attempts.
On some lows you canât just hold df after blocking the high or mid, because blockstun ends too early.
Gotta wait a bit, then press and hold df. Not sure if thatâs the case with that move in particular though.
man i need that 3rd match to solidify my win. usually its ether a straight 2-0 moving along or ill win the runback cause ill start seeing the stuff these people do
the third match reinforces this fact and shows dominion over the opponent. ill call it this especially if they had nothing but shitty ass gimmicks the whole way.
