Never thought I would have that much fun with the game. The only bummer is the online Managed to get only one tournament running yesterday which bugged out at the finals, so no rewards for anyone.
He doesnât use it, he incorporates aspects of martial arts into his fighting style used in the SF games though. His moveset is just him throwing fists with nothing but brute force behind them.
In Final Fight you see it more, particularly in his throw. Miguel also uses some slight aspects of martial arts, he holds a low guard for increased power in punching.
after every match when the rematch menu appear there is a menu entry called profile.
it will lead you to the steam profile of your opponent where you can add him.
another way is to remember his name and avatar! and seek him on steam.
but be aware that a lot of people have similar names and without remembering the avatar you might not find the one you seek.

[JUNE 13TH PATCH] Patch rollback!
We released a patch yesterday on Steam to improve the online experience but following your response
we have decided to roll it back in order to keep improving your game experience. We continue to gather
all of your feedback and thank you for your patience! "
imo, you should start out with josie as she leans a bit more to beginner/intermediate playstyles and when youâre confident enough with your fundamentals you can move onto kazumi.
the mishimas have a distinct playstyle that has a good learning curve BUT very difficult to beast on anybody as they have very high risk/reward moves.
josie, leo and paul lend themselves well to anybody still learning the game and the system.
Never thought clean KBDs would be as easy as they actually are. I find them easier to do than the sloppy QCB inputs, honestly. Just back -> back (hold) -> Then go down from back and I never get any backsway.
Not quite sure if you mean that theyâre âhigh risk / high rewardâ or if they have a high return relative to their risk here. Because I donât think they need to play particularly risky, and Devil Jin in particular is safe on almost everything from my experience. Their risk-reward is quite good (they have a plus on block i14 launcher with huge range ffs), they just have a very high skill ceiling, so while they take some effort to truly destroy people, thatâs for different reasons than their risk reward.
I may completely misunderstand what you meant here though.
Also, Leoâs a good character suggestion that nobody ever fucking mentions. In fact, I donât think Iâve faced a single other T7 Leo-player than me yet. I seriously donât understand why, unless Iâm the only person in the world that likes her character design and thatâs what scare people away, because sheâs really straightforward to play and very easy to be effective with. Basically low-execution Devil Jin in that she can do everything, and does all those things well.
The online community for this game is terrible. I had two ragequitters yesterday in an hour and a 1/2 of play and 90% of the people I play against leave after one match. Shit, Iâve had people leave after one match after they were the ones who won!
Itâs a miracle to run a set in this game. I donât know if itâs my Akuma that makes people salty, or if Tekken players have some weird pride when it comes to playing matches online. Ranked or player match it doesnât matter. When I compare it to all the FGâs Iâve played online, T7 and the Mahvel games have the shittiest communities by far. I donât remember TTT2 or T6 being like this on PSN either.
Are you guys having similar experiences like this? Iâm really enjoying the game but I hate the multiplayer community and it makes me not want to play as much as I otherwise would have.
I donât have a lot of people leaving.
I sit in my 2 man lobby and get 2 or 3 noobs that stay for one game, then some good player shows up and I get my FT10 or FT20 ez.
Yesterday I had to learn how to block and punish both of Fengâs 10 hit strings because some dude ran a train over me with that shit.
Also fuck sitting in 8 man player lobbies. Iâm too old wasting my time watching other people play.
Fuck ranked though, that shit sucks.
Only good part about ranked is that the ranking system is actually good.
You can lose like 10 in a row to a beginner rank if youâre like 3 or 4 ranks above him without getting demoted, same with people of higher rank than you.
I donât get half as pissed losing to somebody who made a new account and is smurfing and am down to play with new people or much better people, because losing and winning doesnât mean a lot in that case and you can just work on matchup knowledge and go for fancy combos.
Maybe itâs because ur playing akuma, a character that has u basically playing SF in a Tekken game. As a Tekken player while I wouldnât run from an Akuma player I can see why other players wouldnât want to fight him.
the risk/reward i meant was about the moves for each individual mishima.
with hei as an example, i would rather stomp than HS after i KD an oppponent
oki options+ depend if my opponent either stands up and blocks low or rolls away
stomp on block is less risky than a blocked HS but if the opponent rolls (especially backward) then you get free damage when you chase them with HS into AK
the skill ceiling youâre talking about is rubbish though, everybody knows all mishimas are top tier bwahahahaha
Sonicbid: Just theory but if you have people who are quitting after winning against you, most likely they donât want to play against akuma.
When I played SF5, there were some matches where I would leave and quit even if I won, because I know it doesnât benefit me to continue playing against the opponentâŚthey would only get better against me, but I wouldnât get better against them.
An example would be against BalrogâŚand this was season 1 balrog, I donât think Iâve played against season 2 or 3 balrog and I am not interested.
Even though I can play on stick, I think my movement and defense is a bit better on pad.
