When I press back I just wakeup standing on techroll. Haven’t had anything but forward roll from prone position as well.

I saw the vid too and had no idea they removed the back roll and haven’t tried to test/confirm it.
Yeah, but wasn’t old backroll very vulnerable, while current back-recovery isn’t? I was under the impression that you were initially talking about using HS to pick up backrollers for a combo, not as a mixup.

If the old backroll is still there, I can understand the original post and the hell sweep pick up option against the old backroll.
If the backroll doesn’t exist anymore, how can the option exist…unless a) he was referring to older tekken games and not tekken 7 or b) the hellsweep on backroll is more of a “Back catch” or frame perfect move and hits them as they stand up…
edit: I thought about it as a combo or a back roll catch instead of a mixup…he might have meant it as a mixup.
It’s so hard winning with King. It feels every other character has faster frames on their moves and some of his best moves hit high. Characters like Xiaoyu are hard to land hits on with him.
Fuck it, i’m going to give Nina a try, eventhough it probably isn’t the smartest choice when learning Tekken.

When you delay certain hits of combos they count as a clean hit
Your Ender with Bryan (the last knee) has a property of if you delay it the last hit will not scale as much and count as part of the combo at the wall.
Knee the best Bryan player does this all the time.
It’s hard to do and you can do it also with devil jins laser scraper Ender against the wall as well as other moves!
If you delay it too much it won’t combo and they can tech roll out the last hit but do it too early and you won’t get the best damage.
It has to be when they are slumped but not too late.
Bwahaha, people picking up Tekken and of course have to pick an EWGF char so they can practice that every night for all eternity on top of already trying to come to grips with movement, strings, frame data…
I play Leo. Funnily enough, I also play Karin in SFV as do you right? Maybe these characters attract a certain player.

I started playing online, I’m playing mostly Heihachi/hwoarang, and will probably play some ling/fei if anyone wants to battle (4 bars at least please).

xiaoyu is hard to hit for everyone
df1 is really fast and natural combos
df2 is one of the fastest mids in the game
one of the best 12f punishers with b1, 2
shining wizard
many good low options that lead into full combos
good full crouch mixup that both lead into full combo
f4 is good against xiaoyu and safe
i think df1 and df2 will work too
