Tried playing on pad again. I think Iām making the switch wholesale, movementās just so much easier on them (wavedashing / BDC is suddenly easy wtf), and my entire left arm isnāt sore after a session (only my thumb).
Relearning electrics is going to be a pain tho, but whatever. Movementās simply more important, even as a Kaz-player.
Iām patching and will try in a phew minutes. I hope is not like that because before the patch I already had problems finding games because of my location.
Edit:
Did the PC patch activate the chromatic aberration again? Iām having a blur effect again and I check the ini file and the edit still there.
i never used it because i like to play inbetween matches and try things out in the room.
i am not sure if the 10 minutes are good or bad for you since you stated that you could not find people earlyer too.
i would say its pretty bad compared to before, would it be my waiting time.
i hope they will fix the issue this week or at allā¦now they have to show how they handle the
after release supportā¦very curios how this turns out.
I think it doesnāt matter.
When I start backswaying my backdash cancels on pad Iām like āOh man this would be so much easier on stick in the long runā, when Iām on stick Iām like āFuck this shit sucks, itād be better on padā.
In the end I decided since I played fighting games for 24 years or some shit on pad, and didnāt grew up playing in arcades, Iām retarded for even buying a stick and just stick to what Iām comfy with.
Question: The type everyone hates!
Iāve been playing Kazumi cause I heard sheās easy to get into but not having THAT much fun. Josie seems more aggressive and fun. Is she any harder to learn?
I started with Xiaoyu but quickly found I probably shouldnt start the game with her and pick her up later.
Josie is pretty simple. Only thin that is remotely difficult is comboing off of her ws2,1 executing crouch dash moves can b a pain as well but even that isnāt that hard
Looks like latest PC patch totally fucked up matchmaking and now people experience extremely long waiting times before getting a game. Player numbers on Steam have been dropping dramatically.
I prefer stick in other games, so I definitely donāt regret getting one. This particular time, however, I think I prefer pad. Not just because it makes things easier for me, but because Tekkenās the first game where Iāve gotten genuinely tired in my left arm from doing just basic shit on stick. Less of a problem on pad since I can do the same stuff better with just my left thumb, so Iām not straining my arm as much.
