are you from russia?
i think we might have played against each other but i am not sure with the name…
I FOUND EDDY AND I CAN’T STOP
Oh no sir. If they took the armor off of Rage Art. They might as well not be in the game. Besides if your character gets his by a strong enough move or a pixel from death. Rage Art doesn’t mean shit
Is there a way to avoid Devil Kazumi’s laser attack shes literally the reason I have a ruined 87 win streak in treasure battle. I feel like she uses very old school cheap AI tactics.
What do you need money for? I have almost 20 million from just playing treasure battle for one character
What the hell am I doing wrong that I can’t get hellsweep to come out? Yet I can get EWGF and regular WGF to come out 80-90% of the time no matter if I’m p1 or p2 side?
Somehow Namco found out how to make Akuma still play like he does in SF while having that Tekken flavor. Don’t know how, but it’s amazing to see. I’m more confident in TxSF (if that’s still a thing)
Tekken 7 is amazing BTW. Dragonuv still my main, but I’m settling on Akuma as my 2nd. Need a third as well, not sure who tho
Also, do a lot of Kazuya’s fish with EWGF in neutral to whiff punish or do they use another move?
Sidestep>Launch.
Same as her fucking fly back to avoid everything and fly towards you, you just gotta react faster.
Devil Kazumi is bullshit though, all the other special battles are ez.
Really fucking good for someone so simple
i dont think the issue is gonna be the game to build new players. its the mentality…lets me real…in general we arent the darlings like mvc and sf. So we havent had to play nice for sponsors and tv shit. Our mentality hasnt been nerfed because of new generations…we have had the same rough personality. we dont cater to the new crowd like sf has, and im noticing people from the sf scene trying out tekken and im not sure if their gonna
Alright, any of you mofos got Tekken 7 on PC tell me your Steam ID so we can beat each other’s asses in real nice and tight.
Sorry, had to finish your sentence for you. Also, what are you talking about? Theres Rage and Ultras in this game as well as spammy high damage and mixup characters obviously designed to make newbs feel good about playing the game despite the lack of an actual way to UNDERSTAND the game. Now that last part Ill never understand. Because while it is true that a good portion will bounce off in the coming weeks, throwing them a bone so they can get better and not rely on just the community to get good learning some combos would greatly help the situation. That said, I think the tournament mode is gonna pay this game PLENTY of dividends for its future provided Namco keeps pumping in free hats and costume stuff to get from treasure chests or spend your hard earned Heihachi bucks on. The fact that you could run some impromptu community events for something valuable ingame is very awesome! Add in that Namco could run an official tournament (maybe with a bigger tournament bracket or several brackets going on at once) for a big prize and the skies the limit to keeping the community involved, whether they can come to an in-person tournament or online.
Generally mishima players will use ewgf to whiff punish but also pewgf is + so even then it’s gd 2 just throw out. It’s a high so it can be ducked but then comes in the mid mix ups
I actually forgot about it. Thanks.
I think her damage is fine.
I watched a lot of Aris stream lately (he is my favorite streamer) and he is playing Josie sometimes.
U+3/UF+3/UB+3 is very cheap. It’s safe on block, is a combo starter that leads to a 64 damage combo and it goes over a lot of attacks, even over some rage arts.
But most satisfying move with her is F, D, DF+3 imo. It sounds like she is shooting the leg of the opponent with a shotgun, lol. Also a good tool to hit someone while getting up or just for poking at mid range.
Naeras. Anyone else is free to add me as well. I’m not particularly good though.
I’m from Europe, so if you’re not there might be connection issues.
EWGF all day. For about twelve different reasons.
There are other moves to use in that regard, but they’re far more situational.
Electrics and Korean Backdashes are the least important things to learn as a beginner.
Well that’s what Aris said but I think he is right.
There’s a video on aris YouTube avoiding the puddle , where he teaches his opponent to punish blocked lows while playing against him online… it’s highly entertaining and heart warming almost .
Fishing and whiff punishing are kind of different things.
As far as I understand you want to use the forward moving EWGF for whiff punishing (f,n,df+2) since it’s slower but moves further forward and the regular EWGF for pressure and block punishing.
It’s exclusive to Kazuya though because of his mist step.
With how expansive movelists and the roster are, it’s super hard to even know what you can punish with 10 framers and launchers.
When is my turn and what defensive and offensive options do I have now? That is a question that I have at least 50 times in a single match.
Sometimes I figure out frame traps opponents lay for me, and find launch punishable moves but I feel like in a game like Tekken 7, it’s even more important to have frame data in the movelists, than it is for games like Street Fighter where you only have to deal with 3-4 moves per button (standing, crouching, jumping and command input).
In Tekken it’s crazy. You got like 10 or more options off every button and it feels like none of the options is truly useless, it’s just that you have 10-15 really good moves and the rest is very situational but good to know.
What I love about the game though, is that you can whiff punish pretty much everything. So if you can keep your spacing and find a fast medium or high button, you can fuck up people even if you have no idea how any of that shit works.
I think this game is more fun than SFV.
Honestly I would say movement is pretty important. Jdcr was talking about this on twitter and said you basically want to avoid being hit at all so you can’t get put into those situations. He also said it’s important to get sidestepping down too cause it helps with punishing, etc. movement is pretty essential but I would worry about the more complex stuff like kbd until someone was more familiar with the game.
