While I can’t tell you how to play the game, i’d really suggest you use a Stick.
A stick allows you more freedom that what a pad does.
Plus you are not allowed to bind buttons in tournaments.
You will be holding a controller differently.
I repeat, you cannot BIND buttons in tournaments.
This has been a standard for awhile now and it will not change. Never.
On another note:
Now that NEC is over, I can get those request about Tekken Training done.
I’ll be making schedule with people who requested a training session probably this week or next.
Depending on my schedule and theirs. If you want to learn the basics of the Game, please send me a message. Note: This also goes for people who know how to play but want to improve their game.
All I ask is to make sure you have a character in mind since you’ll need that to practice with when i’m going through things. I have another stipulation but i’ll mention it when we gather for training.
“Training is FREE of charge. Although people tell me, they’d give me money to teach them, i don’t feel right doing so. It will either be in my place or yours.”
For the Close Minded:
Now I do understand that we are all SF fanatics but even that game can get ummm, boring at times. Any game really. I’m not saying you should stop playing, i’m saying you should widen your horizon a bit.
So if you are waiting for SSFIV, then wait it out with another game that is widely popular right now.
I can safely say that if there is an SFIV tournament in the States, there will be a Tekken beside it.
I personally hate going out of town, spending that much money for bus, car, plane and hotel to only enter 1 game. i.e. EVO
Online has been a whole lot better than before since they fixed the netcode, I’ll probably start back up with T6 a bit later on, too busy with MW2 right now.
Everybody seems to be getting in to this game.
While that’s good, I seem to notice that most of them are lacking in the basics department.
Basics are important, which is the reason why I create these videos.
Hey Russel, do you only play on box (read that somewhere earlier) or are you on PSN too? I wouldn’t mind a mini training sesh with a solid player, so I can get a feel for what the game “should” feel like.
I can’t tell if the people online beating me are good or not.
PS. going to add PSN people in this thread if no one minds.
Sorry but I got 360 and my connection will make you cry so nevermind about that.
Where abouts do you live? We can schedule a practice or tutorial session if you want.
yay another tourney for me to win haha just kidding…or am i? :lovin:
It would be awesome to play with some new people though, I can try to teach what I “know”.
