TEKKEN 6 Bloodline Rebellion Thread - PS3/XBOX 360 Oct. 27, PSP Nov. 3

I shouldn’t even bother responding, but ALL Mexican Wresters are Luchadores.
Just because the High-flying, cruiseweight style is what is most famous and associated with the Lucha style, doesn’t mean you have to do that in order to be “Lucha”.
Besides, they have plenty of common “Lucha style” moves like Tornado DDTs, Hurricanranas, flying dropkicks and clotheslines.

dr was a straight port to ps3. if anything it could happen…

Do you actually watch Mexican wrestling, or are you fronting about that like you did with your “girlfriends” and your “rap game”?

You’re mixed up too. A. King doesn’t have Kinniku Driver, King does.

This man is correct.

I think my post about Asuka was misunderstood. I don’t think she sucks in Tekken 6. I was just saying that I like how she improved from T5 to T5DR and it’d be cool to see it happen again.

imo thanks to bound and certain new moves she got pretty buff, it’s just other people just have straight up BS. lol

Actually, it can really be argued that DJ and Hei where actually better then Bryan or Feng in 5.0. However, nobody in the fucking US can ever play Mishima’s as badass as other countrymen can, the koreans obviously come into mind. Hei had the most retarded 10-frame punisher that lead to 40% damage all the time, shit was fucking ridiculous, both DJ and Hei had great wallsplats, and DJ had an excellent wall carry game, and both having EWGF, with Mishima 112 pokes and wavedashing, B+1 to Wgf with DJ was great, still had a great HS.

They where right up there, again, not a whole lot of people where playing Mishima’s at 5.0’s time, because everyone was dick riding Steve, Nina, and Bryan. To me, Bryan takes either the 5th or 6th spot in 5.0, for I feel that Steve, Nina, DJ, Hei and Feng imo where better overall characters then he was (DJ’s where doing excellent in S.K. and Hei from what I remember didn’t get as much love as SNB did). Speaking of 5.0, it reminds me of the time when Leedy was a big ass Anti-Steve using Devil Jin…that was, all the way up until the 311* bs was discovered .

Agreed 100%, for I believe if they could, I would like them to modify bound so that you can only get one extra hit off of it, or at the most two, not another fucking juggle string which is complete bs.

Bound is the biggest pile of shit of a universal gimmick ever implemented into the Tekken series. This has removed alot of creativity that was already severely depleted during T5, at least in DR, their was still room for some creativity, however in T6…you just sitting their waiting for someone to fuck up so you can go on your cool-aid juggle fest. There’s just simply too much juggle+bound+juggle+wallsplat mentality going on, regardless of whomever you play.

So here’s to hoping with T6:BR, will do some really, really solid reworking.

You’re fuckin retarded. Anything out of mexico can be considered a luchador. No matter the style of it, If its out of mexico its a luchador, ESPECIALLY if they were masks.

the only time bound is really bad is against the wall. then its stupid. open ground juggles with bound don’t do much more than t5.0 juggles. against the wall its stupid, not to mention the wall system itself is fucking broken.

wall splat should mean no bound. near wall, i can take. but all these simple long juggles that carry to the wall, a few wall hits, then bound, then more hits… that’s no good. its too brain dead.

lol. That was fucking awesome.

tekken6BR can be 100x times better with only 1 change-
make all the launchers have a bound effect instead of a launch effect (w/o being able to re-bound a-la lili hop kick) so all the juggles will be a lot weaker.

Ok you fucking bitch sticks.

From Wiki

Luchas are traditionally MUCH CLOSER to an El Blaze or Fuerte then they are AK, you people are just being fuckin retarded, and GD has nothing to do with it. Get over yourselves and hop off.

A real Lucha in the traditional sense is a high flyer, the Kings in Tekken don’t reflect that at ALL.

The main problem is the fact that some chars can get so many hits and STILL B! at the wall.

As for the new wall system, it helps and hurts, because now everyone has wall damage, but once again, some people have DUMB wall damage. =/

You just sonned yourself again, read the fucking wiki clip you just fucking quoted.

A luchador is a Mexican Wrestler. PERIOD. There are different weight classes, and the cruiserweights are the most popular, BUT ALL MEXICAN WRESTLERS THAT LEARNED THAT STYLE OF WRESTLING ARE LUCHADORS. King and Armor King both have a decent amount of Lucha moves even if their primary strikes and such are more famous moves from Puro and NA Pro. They are also FROM MEXICO. THEREFORE THEY ARE LUCHAS.

Seriously, have you never watched ANY Mexican wrestling? They’re not all cruisers, because as much fun as that is, it WILL get boring.

But enough about you failing, let’s get this thread back on track.

Re: tataki - The problem there is, Lili can still B! off that launcher, but I understand what you mean.

You really are retarded. Gtfo of here with that elitist shit, You cant tell someone who is mexican about his culture.

I got your back Mystic.

A luchadore is just a Mexican wrestler. Luchadores are credited for creating the high flying moves, but you don’t have to do them to be a luchadore. Luchadore is just one who practices lucha libre which is Mexican wrestling. You’re a dumbass for arguing with a mexican about it.

King definitely qualifies for the first part.

that’s why i wrote "(w/o being able to re-bound a-la lili hop kick)"
w/o=without

Oops, completely whiffed that one. =x

LOL Sonned again.

King is Mexican. He is a Mexican wrestler. Mexican wrestlers are called Luchadores. King only has a few moves that have been made popular in Mexico (Romero Speical, Sol Naciente, that Mexican Cripwalk thing he does when he wins) but despite that, he is a luchadore. Although he does have alot of American wrestling moves. Rock Bottom, Stunner, Scorpion Death Lock, Tombstone Piledriver. But again, King is a luchdore.

Armor King is not Mexican. He doesn’t have a nationality but AK is some sort of black. But AK does alot of Japanese wrestling moves. Burning Hammer, Buzzsaw Kick, Green Mist, Backhandspring to reverse elbow and Shining Wizard. Think of AK as a tribute of sorts to The Great Muta.

does someone get to speak to japanese/korean players often and can shed light on what are they thinking about the super high damage combos? since the game is doing so well in arcades, maybe they really like it that way…
