TEKKEN 6 Bloodline Rebellion Thread - PS3/XBOX 360 Oct. 27, PSP Nov. 3

It’s not an issue of vital importance, but it is annoying that if BR is not the console release version, the Tekken scene in the United States will for the most part remain a version behind.

i just played t6 for the FIRST time last week, too. sighs

Mannnn I didn’t even get to play the origina … I mean outdated version yet!

stop crying and play more, nigga

Haha, naw I know man, I wanna play it too. I’m just having fun with human nature here. Call it a guilt trip or a healthy reminder of perspective, doesn’t matter; either way I know I caught some dudes a-spoilin’! :bgrin:

Jawsome. more balanced.

Never said Chreddy was the worst. Ganny and Baek are definitely worse. Hell, I think Hwoarang might be worse than Chreddy. All the low pokes in the world do not help when you have opponents that have lows that are just as fast (Lei, DJ) that do just as much damage.

A good, Leo, Zafina, Paul, etc simply has to wait and get their damage. You take the best Chreddy player and have him play a waiting game with any other solid player using a different character and the Chreddy player will lose.

Not to mention Chreddies terrible sidestep which is absolutely neccessary to compete with S characters.

I hate bounce. But if you are going to focus the ENTIRE game on one new system you wanna make sure every character can take advantage of it.

I hope the programmer who thought bounce would be a good idea gets herpes.

Jawsome? Nigga you quotin’ Street Sharks? Well I’ll be damned. I thought no one remembered that show. Ok…but back to the main topic at hand. I honestly fail to see what the hubbub is about for Bloodline Rebellion. I know it’s more balanced…but…T6 juuuuuuuuuuuuust came out. And now they’ve come out with a revision? So what version will PS3 owners get? Regular T6 or Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion?

As a non-Tekken player who goes to Evo, I freaking hope this is the version we get because I have tried to watch T6.0 matches and damn near fallen asleep every time.

 We are sick people. I think we’re really the only type/group of video game players who will see a brand new title and have our first reaction be–in all enthusiasm and positivity–“Awh yea that looks great, I can’t wait for the updated version!”

She’s fine, its just other characters are too damn good sometimes. Doesnt mean ill switch or whatever, but if it makes the gap between the top characters and my character a bit smaller, every little bit helps.

That, and in upgrades, they tend to give more moves and make the overly good ones not AS good. Makes it more fun in general. Im optimistic, too, tho.

Ill be playing whatever is at the arcades anyways, so whateva. If it sucks, ill prolly still play it anyways. I just have to hope its good.

[purposeful flamebait] They stallin for dat 360 version. [/purposeful flamebait]
In all seriousness, I HOPE the PS3 release is BR. The last thing America needs is to be a version behind Japan this long (TWO versions, if the US release of T6 doesn’t come out by Evo. I mean, I guess they could import it, but Evo usually seems kinda reluctant to do that. Although since PS3 is region free, I guess that’s a non-issue. Wow, that was a long parenthetical statement). BUT, I can definitely see where the “throwing arcade owners a bone” argument is coming from. It’s the same reason DR wasn’t released on PS2, and Final Tuned never got a console release, and it seems to be a common issue in Japan, especially with the console release near the same time. Console release will either be delayed or be “vanilla” T6 with DLC or a separate release later. I doubt BR will have NO console release, as Namco likes money too much.

King and AK are Mexican wrestlers but they are certainly not Luchadores. Not even a little bit. That’s like calling Triple H a Lucha. Their moves are 98% bulky, heavyweight/superheavyweight throws. I’m talking about a real Lucha.

I play chreddie exclusively, and i’m not worried at all. t5, t5.1, t5dr chreddie’s been mid tiered. i have almost no problem with any matchup, mostly cuz im random as all get out. i think it would be cool if namco would step their netcode game up on dr b4 or with the release of t6/t6br… yeah that would be cool.

I know, man. King is More Puro and American Pro than anything. But his weight and height just don’t add up though.

Armor King is just fucking crazy. Dude does Kinniku Drivers and shit. He’s more Vale Tudo than Marduk.

Namco doesnt give a shit about Christie or Eddy and fails to make them any more than just capable of winning. They dont have what it takes to really into high level EASILY. You really have to work for those wins.

My biggest gripes::

-No big frame traps
-No fast safe mid punisher
-Negativa can be juggled by MIDS?? (RE-FUCKING-DICULOUS)
-HSP 4 unsafe
-1 and 2 are literally useless outside of juggles. df+1,1 and b+2 are the only punches I use. Maybe db1+2 every once in a while.

And just irritating shit like, most of her good moves leave her at disadvantage, making them not really good moves. Its a hairflip. Namco is hard on the Mishima’s nuts and its borderline arrogant.

Mind you when Nina Steve and Bryan were the top 3 in 5.0 you see how far they dragged them down just to see Kaz, Hei and Jin rise back to the top. Pure foolishness.

Man, I was trying to be funny (thus the :razzy: ) and some people are over exaggerating.

You can make a great argument that Bryan was one of the top 6 in DR. Steve got nerfed, but hell, he’d probably still made ~top 10 in DR. Nina? Ok, she took it the worst of the three. Don’t forget Feng, who was arguably better than Bryan in 5.0 (esp. w/o walls), and he remained top 5 or 6 in DR. And it isn’t like the Mishimas were that bad in 5.0. After the four I just mentioned, DJ and Hei were probably the next best in 5.0, and 5.0 Kaz was about like Steve in DR, probably about 10th give or take amongst the cast. Hell, they at least made DJ and Hei less scrub friendly in DR by taking out Hei’s 22~1 natural comboing and DJ’s b+1~d/f+2 also natural comboing.

It wasn’t like they took these awful low tier characters and instantly transformed them into overpowering beasts. Nor did they set out to utterly destroy the 5.0 top tier. You still needed to be good to win with the DR Mishimas to win. The whole thing is exaggerated, and funny.

TBR… nice, but come on… bring it to my lovely ps3 pleeeeeez

oh and by the way… i wish that update will remove the(( JUGGLING )) or whatever it is from tekken 6, cuz its silly!! :xeye:

bring it to psp too NAMCO… cuz i just bought one lol

I would also like that to happen… But it’s very unlikely considering the specs of the current PSP 2000~… on slims.
