yeah i been saying, namco is seriously handling tekken 6, poorly. so not only are we not getting regular T6 on console anymore, now we gotta wait another year to get anything tekken related, on console. meh
looks like Tekken in WA will be dead unless Narrows/ACME/GameWorks gets BR
Well, considering the game didn’t exactly make it’s way to America the way Namco wanted it to(lol @ 10k cabs), they’ll make back the money on console with it being multi-platform.

I don’t even have DR. I got PS2 Tekken 5. I’m supposed to play that for another year? I struggle to play that now.

If anything it would be the othe way around, seeing as Japan will actually play BR and U.S./Europe won’t be playing anything.
At least we have SF4 coming soon(hopes TvC doesn’t remain a Wii exclusive.)
Unbelievable. I guess I’m glad it’s on 360 too, then it might have decent online connection capabilities…but…another year? Why?
it’s just an update…how long does it take to re-balance the characters (barely I’m sure), add a bunch of accessories and barely update the graphics.
SF4 is going to make people forget Tekken by the time it comes out. OH! maybe that’s the plan, and then it will look fresh! Namco, you sly bastards!

character balance - this has to be done right. They have to make appropriate changes to each character, and playtest and make sure things are right. Saying things like (barely im sure), what ground do you say that on? You call DR them “barely” balancing the characters? It went from a 3-5 character fest to most of the characters in the game able to win. Have you ever thought about how to balance every character and go through all their moves and see which ones need changing? Prolly not as easy as youre making it sound.
Adding accessories? First off, they have to figure out what theyre gonna add, then they have to add it. And if theyre doing as many options as they say they are, theyre doing a bunch of new accessories for each character, and theres a LOT of characters. Even 10 for each character is like, about 400 total.
Barely update the graphics? Even barely is better than nothing.
Then they have to add in all the modes. Then they have to add in and program a ton of AI’s. Then they have 2 more characters to make, and everything new such as items and stuff, for each of them.
If you think its that easy, make a good fighting game yourself…
just gimmie a stripped down t6 for now… i’ll deal

Tekken 6 : BR on Xbox 360 no longer ps3 exclusive
i came across this
apparently tekken 6 is no longer ps3 exclusive (although it was never confirmed exclusive but most people assumed it) and that really surprised me seeing that all previous tekken titles were on sony’s system. I guess they want more money but seriously think about it.
most of the fanbase already have a ps3 and if you were to buy it on the 360 and play people online do u know how many fucking people will pick eddy gordo and keep smashing the 2 kick buttons simultaneously??!?!?!?
i guess this is the only way for them to recoup the losses since sfiv is coming out around the same time lol.
