Has anyone not installed the game, checked the result offline + online, and then installed the game and check the final result? I’m guessing most haven’t cuz the first thing you wanna do is rush the install and play the hell out of it haha.
I think I’m gonna test it for a couple days without installing and then installing later. So please don’t send me hatemail lol.
Thats pretty gay. I love using mokujin for fun to use different people. Also some set the netcode is bad, some say it is decent. I agree with Onslaught, It is probably a hit or miss kinda scenario.
December patch ought to be pretty awesome as T5 DR to T5: DRO was a great upgrade besides the laggy online play the system of the online was decent.
any tips for beating nancy in arcade mode? normally I wouldn’t care but I kinda want the platinum because it doesn’t seem too hard.
Right now I’m in the millennium tower and it’s frustrating fighting multiple jacks while having people shoot at you from far away which stuns you. and sometimes when I’m fighting 2 of the larger jacks they block the camera. any tips for that stage? right now I’m not using nancy, because I think that’s how you get a trophy(or am I wrong?)
When it’s good, it’s AWESOME. I’ve had what honestly felt like perfect lag free games… I was able to land Asuka’s f+2, b+2,1,3, f,f,n,2,1,1+2, f,f, d/b+4,3 online, that’s perfectly playable to me!
When it’s bad though… The nice part is the bars don’t fluctuate too bad though, so if you’re in a lobby and everyone shows you green/blue you’re golden!
One thing I’ve noticed… If a player doesn’t have the full bandwidth required, rather than having input delay you’ll instead face the actual game slowing down, but there won’t be any input delay, just it runs at less than 60 fps. Namco need to tell us the minimum required for smooth play, because Ping can be perfect, but if the bandwidth required isn’t there then it’s going to lag no matter what.
It’s either that, or some peoples connections have major packet loss.
Well no duh. The sheep stage wasn’t selectable in the arcade and that’s what makes it fun. Picking random select over and over until…SHEEEEP! I still like Fiesta del Tomate the best. The song fits the stage so well and…TOMATES!!!
Im really feelin Lars in this game…dude reminds me of a cooler Dragunov, I like the power I sense when he lands a move. Law is slick, I like him a lot better in this game as well as Creddy. I have about 7 ppl I want to learn.
Something about Lars doesn’t excite me. The only ones who excite me are Jin, Kazuya, Julia, Bruce, Wang, Anna, and Devil Jin. BTW, how is Anna in his game?
Ive had the game on PS3 since Fri morning, only really started playing it Sun night. But Lars is nice. I like Jin, I played him for a few days on DR on the PSP. Gonna play DR on the PSP more until T6 is out. Great way to learn execution for combos on tho go
Now I’m thinking whether to get this game or not. I got it pre-ordered, and I can pick it up after school.
I’ve been playing Tekken since I was around 8, loved every Tekken (except for 4, but the introduction to Steve was pretty forgiving), and now were at the weird ass century where online play is definitely a good boost of entertainment. And I’m pretty much loving online play rather than local play now…
When he was doing the UFRAGTV show, Mark seems pretty hesitant about online play, and it’s starting to sound like KOFXII netcode.
So is there any promised upgrade on the current netcode?
