Only tried a few matches online so far, all pretty laggy. Can’t land just frames or break throws for the life of me on reaction. One the thing I found oddly missing from DRO is, when you’re in practice mode, and you “Hold” a move on the move list, you can’t use L2/R2 or the analog sticks to go to the next/previous move, you have to actually go in the move list and “hold” the next move you want. Minor annoyance but an annoyance none the less.
Also, I finished all the Campaign stages aside from the bonus train stage that opens up. Still need to find a way to unlock Devil Jin, Mokujin, Roger Jr and Yoshimitsu though for the Arena, but that might get tossed aside whem everyone else picks up the game, I just won’t have the interest to play any more single player stuff.
Oh, one thing that confused me to no end was…why in the fuck did they make the stick run on AA batteries? I was hoping for a USB plug in and built in battery, but I guess that would’ve driven up the already expensive price tag? It’s an alright stick I guess, but that’s coming from a pad Tekken player, so take that for what it’s worth.
Anyways, if any of you wanna try out online with me, add me and we’ll see how the online is holding up. I’ only making rooms for 2 players though, a room with 4 is even laggier than it normally is.
Devil Jin is on the nightmare train stage.
Im trying to work out how to get the ‘finish every stage in campaign mode’ achievement. I dont know if there is another extra stage after the nightmare train, nothing new has opened up. I hope they dont expect me to finish the Tekken tournament with every character, that would suck.
Is there any bs you have to go through to unlock all the characters? Don’t want to grind after the mid-night release!

Roger is off of Christie’s stage. When the green feather flamingo dancers walk in, beat them all up, then beat up the kangaroo that appears latter.
Strange. Haven’t seen his ending yet.

Installing the game on PS3 is 100% essential imo. Everything just runs so much nicer. Just played a set of 40 between a local friend of mine and a friend of mine in Europe. Was pretty dam good, I’m not one to notice stuff like input delay and such but it functioned a hell of a lot better than my time on SF4, at least on PSN.
