Never did get into that cosplay stuff. I would’ve been a decent Miguel 5 years ago though.
You might like Brian or Paul to be honest. I’m sure you heard it a few times. Paul has always been a very strong counter hit character with his qcf+2 along with decent pokes (I don’t know how he fairs in BR seeing as we didn’t have a Paul player in RI). Brian is a strong poking character as well with mean as hell wall caries and wall damage.
But if your going to learn the game, just pick a character and get your movements down first. And start with learning one non wall and one wall combo. Once you get comfortable, just start adding more and more to your game. It’s not that hard of a game to pick up, but you need to put in a LOT of work to get good. But the game is so much fun. Im just hoping the netcode isnt garbage. If that shit is like KOF12, im going to flip out.

Paul is easier to play with than Bryan, IMO. Once a beginner’s character, always a beginner’s character. DF too strong. Easy as butt combos. Demo Man at will, and seems easier to input, for me at least. Awesome new db2 that floats airborne opponents ala Lili’s df2 (old shitty one from DR is another notation or hopefully removed completely). Also awesome b1,2 that bounds and is somewhat safe on block.

Though I think Bryan can be a solid starter. Sans all the taunt mixups and the like, he can be pretty straight forward. And its better than starting out with someone like “bob” (not the fatass) or Creddy.
But is his Demo man really that strong?
If you can land the JF version everytime, yep.
HOWEVER, because of the slower-looking reanimation (compared to like TTT, god I love that game so much), it’s easily read by most. And you will be punished hard and fast for that.
But despite that, Paul is still as scary as he was in the old Tekkens. You do not want to feel a CH RAGED PERFECT FRAME INPUT DEATHFIST?.
The input for demo man is pretty easy…The the beat for queen’s We will rock you…that boom…boom…boom. That’s the exact timing.

pauls demo man is i16 and if it doesn’t trip it has its old pushback back making it nonpunishable by some characters.
That move is -12 but it is indeed awesome.
I tried T6BR out at our local arcade and find that it’s pretty sweet. I haven’t playe since T3 and was wondering how (gonna butcher the spelling of hisis name) Hwoarang stacks up in the tier list.

solid mid. He FINALLY got a tracking move from lff and better punishment. some new strings. His damage is still hella high tough.
besides tier distance is really small, so you could pick any character and win.

They do somewhat. He’s lost some good stuff from DR to BR. He got a free shoulder after ch ss+3 in 6.0, b+2 is hella slow now, the reanimated d+1, qcb+3,2,1 doesn’t jail, f,f+4 and f+1+2 are worse on block. Damage for df has been up and down.
He’s a hard character to make completely shitty. They’d have to remove d/f+2 and demo man or something.
