Hamad: Will Marshall Law Have A Sucess In Sumthing Cause He’s Been Falling So Many Things
This is the best and worst question ever
I didn’t get blood everywhere, I was exaggerating. I still think it’s pretty gross though; sorry if I weirded anyone out.
I’m just saying I’m still a scrub at Tekken, I had a major (and super painful) distraction, and I was able to get 4th. Mystic has more skill and less period, so I’m sure that equals top 3 placement in a LUYG tourney.
Actually does anywhere else have LUYG tourneys (or anything like it) or is it just NorCal and SoCal? I know JT bit off SoCal’s idea… and I don’t know where they got it from.
Its not that im disgusted by it, But I’ve just had 2 very very very very disgusting experiences in the past. I mean, It doesnt phase me much, But it reminds me of those 2 instances and I get that little chill lol.
I wanna win yan T_T And no yan isnt a leo type character, But her posts are making me think a bit differently about her preference >.>
I suppose once you get married (or date a girl for over a year or so), that kind of talk will come natural over time. My god.
So anyway. Leo! A man?! According to Tekken Official and now they’re listing Leo as male on Tekken Zaibatsu. Mind fuck!?
Well I had a girlfriend who when she talked about it, I wouldnt mind. THAT IS UNTIL one time she actually showed me the aftermath, And it just got much worse from there
Eh don’t worry about it. Boys need to get used to the idea sooner or later. I hope you awarded your top 4 placement with a nice dose of aspirin and a nap.
As far as I know, NorCal and SoCal are the only places doing LUYG. I think MYK wants more communities to pick the idea up to draft new players. So it’s up to each separate community to start their own LYUG series. I wish CenCal could do it, but the most recent Tekken machine in Bakersfield is Tekken 5.0 and I’m sure that the other larger cities in the area do not have T6:BR either. I would love to attend the next LUYG in SoCal, but I’m broke until I get some finaid. T_T
When console comes out I’ll probably try to round up the Bakersfield kids to play it and I want to persuade a local videogame store to hold tournaments for it too… They do it for other games, why shouldn’t they do it for Tekken?
I got to about 80 questions on that page and gave up. I agree with a lot of the other posters, e.g. “can’t you people google?”.
Years of Anime and Manga already told me Leo was a guy.
the due wants to be a spelunker.
I guess Tekken 6 was featured in this months Qore, and someone uploaded it on youtube

nothing we haven’t seen, but still kinda cool
I miss tekken 6. How I envy the svgl crew Im about to buy this sick DJ skin off ebay!
I miss it too, and I too envy svgl crew (all really cool people) though I suppose I could play it alone. it’s a waste paying $1.50 and not having anyone to play
Its better than throwing your hard earned pizza tossing money away because your comp is too good Its ok, I’ll get better in due time.
Makes me sad too…as a matter of fact, I just got home from a friends Birthday Party and yeah, I broke out some Fighting games (which people loved) but those that played kept talking about how “foreign” playing on a stick (I have two for PS2) felt for them…god damn it…
Well, Sometimes people just know their place in line. Thats how it is at svgl, Or the cards get put up.
SF4 eventually got a sign up sheet…no other game has a big enough line of people to warrant it…so no one has figured out what to do, and a lot of the arcade going public NOW has no idea about proper arcade etiquitte. It’s fucked…I mean, shit, my MOM and her generation of people even put their quarters up back in the day (I was talking with her about it a few years ago) so it’s not like it was some brand new concept back when SF2 came out and change the fuckin’ game for everyone.
I think the decline happened when I started seeing people put money into DDR cabinets WHILE PEOPLE WERE PLAYING!
Naw, It sounds weird but I don’t mind losing I take it as a learning experience, but then again with the comp at SVGL sometimes I’d lose to quick to learn anything I don’t even really know how good or bad the comp is here in Hawaii cuz I’ve never really played them. I played 1 guy who told me where the comp is and I went toe to toe with him, even managed a win or two before I had to go. but not sure what that says cuz I’ve been outta the scene for years now. but yeah I miss SVGL hell even MGL, and my old stomping grounds Newpark Mall Tilt it may have sucked but it was my home. they aren’t even allowed to have fighting games any more (if they are even open).
and you’re right with lots of practice you will get better. I remember when JT first started. he was kinda a joke for many people cuz he seemed to think he was really good, when a lot of people could put him down easy. I knew him before from Magic the gathering, and he was cocky in that game too. I still remember when T5 first came out, like the first day we had it and he said out loud to me “the graphics are a downgrade” and intell said “your moms a downgrade.” LOL sorry random memory. but anyhow me and some other Magic players who played fighting games told him he should play at SVGL or MGL if he wanted to learn, and then he learned really quick. still not sure where he got all the money to put in the time he did, but sure enough while I was away from the scene he was getting mad practice. I visited during the SBO qual weekend (I think it was the summer that I moved to Hawaii so 2007) and he was a much better player than I ever remembered him being.
oh and don’t get me wrong, I like jt he is a nice guy and we are friends but yeah interesting memories lol
yeah, that’s the console generation. but then again I’ve seen some really good arcade players who prefer controller. I can understand it for Tekken cuz it’s not too bad on controller, but I dunno how people play SF or a game with more than 4 buttons requiring mad fast timing on a pad.
yeah I’ve seen the card thing for initial D and tekken, and generally people get to know when it’s their turn but what we’re talking about is the tradition of putting up your quarters being lost as a sign of the decline of the arcade (or at least that’s how I take it). remember the plastic thing they would screw on to the cabinets to hold quarters that had numbers on them? those were the days
Yea, That was mostly a marvel thing here though, Stockton has NEVER had a tekken scene except for me T_T Fuckin sad. Despite that, I dont consider myself a bad player, Just a very motivated above decent player
Special costume for Roger is my guess. They can’t be tossing out new characters now…can they?
Any new word on the wireless stick?
