I thought the whole point of us installing pad ports was so EC people would come to Strongstyle. To my understanding there were only like one or two EC people last time.

Heck, there’s a Tekken community practically everywhere. You just need to ask around.
Look, as far as I can tell, theres a Tekken community here, a really broken and dying one. Me Ashton and the dudes in Lafayette play. But thats around 5-8 people. Not really much to go on from.

GM you’re putting me to sleep man. You’ve never faced anyone good from the West Coast. I mean FAB has and you’ve seen what happened to him. You can talk all you want but again going to Tenessee ONCE doesn’t=I travel.
GM what is your situation? You talk about it but clearly your “situation” allows you to spend tons of money at CTF every day since you have more plays on your card then NAPS and MYK combined. That’s quite a “situation you got there”. A lot of people would sure like to be in that “situation” Some people have real lives and play this game as a hobby but man it’d sure be nice to take a 30 minute ride and be able to play all the Tekken 6 BR I could afford.
West Coast is the best dude. That’s why they get respect. Maybe I need to jog your memory but there are only two East Coast players in History to ever place at EVO, Lingmassacre and Spero Gin. Every other player has been West Coast or South-West. I dont suck West Coast’s dick, I just look at facts and use logic. I have an ton of respect for Spero Gin and any player that actaully does something. You have not.

I don’t exactly have fiber-optic. In SCIV, I usually get four bars (or less) around the United States.
Unfortunately, to really play SCIV you really need five bars, or offline.
Plus, halfway through my “career”, my internet worsened for no discernible reason, and people I used to play comfortably at four started lagging up. I lost good training partners because of that.
Let’s just say I’m now wary of online most of the time because of this old connection.
I live in Abilene… my closest comp is roughly three hours away (that’s in Dallas).
I only managed to go to two tournaments when playing SCIV- a monthly in San Antonio, and a regional in Houston… had to drive four hours for San Antonio, and six for Houston. Part of why I stopped playing SCIV is because I ran out of money for these trips…
Local competition, one just a short (30 min-hour) drive away would be better… but I won’t get that until I move to Tulsa.
… and that’ll be October, so it won’t matter anyway.
