top dogs from namco are saying that Yoshimitsu is supposed to be a top tier character in T6:BR… we got a T6:BR cab at my arcade and i’ve been using Yoshi since tekken 1… and i gotta say that they’ve changed him sooooo much, that i cant really use him… i assume that someone who has had the time to practice with him would be a destructive force… but for now i can’t get a handle on him… he’s got stances that pop off left and right… he’s got one that has him using 2 swords, and another where he puts his swords away completely and just fights bare knuckle… i’m just saying that Yoshi looks to be a force to be reckoned with… so take that into account guys…
also i’m looking for some T6:BR movelists… that are in english and aren’t the ones found on the side fo the cabinets… so if anyone can link me in the right direction please do so
I landed his manly unblockable on some dude @ E3. I don’t care if I never hit another human player with a future new character’s unblockable I can live with that.

Is Alisa putting something else in Eddy’s arms in the first one? But there’s no explanation for the second one. If this is a customization snafu, Moku-Alisa might be affected to.
I’m not caught up in the tier lists like that, I just think Feng should be moved into A because I believe he has more tools than some of the others. But you’re right, everyone can beat everyone in tekken.
Well… it’s because he still has a few weaknesses (unsafe launchers for example…). Lars is the same (shitty lows and relatively slow launchers). Feng’s damage output isn’t as strong as Paul’s either for example. But he compensates with a lot of CH moves that lead to good shit, and great mix-ups.
Feng is good, but not stupid good. Bruce, Bob, Lili = stupid good.
Feng Wei’s lows are good, just predictable if used wrong, He does have unsafe launchers, but I believe Feng Wei doesn’t really need launcher like that. Or maybe it’s just the way I play him. shrugs But I’ve always mained/liked Bruce. Him using Muay Boran moves just makes me like him even more
So would a quick launcher make him a lil bit better?
Feng’s lows are fine, I was talking about Lars’ lows (sorry for the confusion).
Imagine if Feng had a df+2-style uppercut that launched on normal. Throw that in with his f+2,1,2; CH b+1, CH df+1, CH low kick into double fist, b+4, and crouch dash and BT/sweep mixups? The Feng bandwagon would overflow.
I’m not saying the guys at A- are a big gap from the A+ or A guys. They’re all really fairly even. Help Me won Korean nats with Lee for example. But if we’re discussing characters “on paper”, tools-wise, A and A+ characters have a fuller set, and that’s the thing that separates the A- people from the A and A+ ones: either a single equalizer move or a setup.
df+2 is God Fist, really, if they were going to give him that, I would expect it for them to change the from data on UF+4, make it quicker and make it safe.
Yup. I wasn’t saying change the notation. I was just saying that if he had a generic df+2 uppercut (generic meaning Paul’s/Hwo’s df+2 - notation could be changed to df+1+2 or whatever), he would be a crazy beast.
I’m against making hopkicks safe and fast though. Low crush move that launches and is safe on block? Broken character right there.
Well, thats why they changed Jin’s uf+4, it wasn’t exactly safe, but it was random enough to be fucking aggrevating. But yeah df+12 is his throw. They have no room for that Unless they gave him a CD 12, but thats his head butt. See? No room, only option would be to make the Hop Kick faster so it’s safe, but on the flip side, it should be safe from certain things.
