Could print it out on regular paper and find out. The dpi doesn’t affect the print size. As long as the print size stays the same the image could be as large as you want it to be…
Anyway looks good

cool the stick is gonna come out of the eye…but what’s with the L2 and now L1?
I went with seven buttons so I could play Capcom and SNK fighting games on the same stick without losing any of the feel of either. On top of that, what fighting game worth playing has more than six butons?
no beef man…i was just curious heh…ur going for the a-b-c-d layout?
Oh you read that wrong. Now that I think about I do sound kinda asshole-ish my bad. But yeah, I was going for the ABCD and the six button Capcom.
I think the bolt holes on DJ-Van’s template are actually a little “outside” of where the bolts are. Like, they’re all a few millimeters farther away from the center of the stick than the actual bolts are. You might want to turn that layer off before sending the art off.
That, or whenever Kinko’s printed mine off they jacked it up…
yeah when i had mine printed from that template that was floating around here i noticed the bolt holes where a little off and i had to manually cut mine a little bigger than what was on the template. same for the button holes, they lined up perfectly but the holes were a little smaller than the metal plate so i had to enlarge them a little. also if you plan on using the yellow start and select buttons, you have to enlarge them a little and cut the little slit on the top so they fit.
Nah imma go with all new buttons. It’s not horribly off is it?
No, but since you have a very high contrast layout, you may notice the white bolt hole circles on the artwork fairly obviously.
if you go by the bolt holes alone it will make your artwork sort of bubble up in the middle and in between the buttons.
my advice would be to attach it to the metal plate (whether your artwork comes back with adhesive backing or if you use some kind of glue) and make sure everything is flat and then cut away any excess that covers up the holes.
let us know how it goes though. i’m curious to find out the quality of the mame marquees since there is no explanation on how durable it is compared to the control panel overlays they offer which is a polycarbonate scratch resistant material and about twice the cost.
What type of plexi or lexan are people using on these to cover their art? How thick does it have to be, so it fits nicely withouth being over/under thick?
I dunno about starting another thread for this, so i’ll just post here. My gamestop now has about 30 PSX dual shocks used, mostly H series. If anyone wants I can buy them and sell em to people for $5 + shipping if they want. Might even wanna ask your local ones if they’ve restocked.
ZOMG BUY NOW! Urr, you should start a new thread for this, and maybe post it in the trading outlet.
And I’m actually not too interested but anyways :P.
Vampiro, those pictures are terrible. Cell phone camera?
no my house is to dark, plus iam just a noob taking pics.
good shit. why’d you keep all 8 buttons?
Oh, big deal. As long as you can keep your hand in one spot, having all 8 buttons is no hindrance at all.
