Dang, voice chat really does lag it more? Kind of a shame, I’d like to shoot the shit with other players, and learn more that way. But I am all for the least laggy conditions. Thanks for the heads up.

EDITNote about how lag has affected me: As a Paul player, not being able to do my damn JFs pisses me off. I pretty much do Demolition Man offline about as naturally as I breath, yet online I can’t land it. EVER. Let’s not even start talking about escaping throws or low parries. And lows become a whole new beast as well. Still fun regardless, you just have to play differently.

I tried picking other characters but I’m pretty sure you guys could tell how shitty I played with them so I kept on going back to Bryan lol. Nice Julia Dj- Clayface, that elbow OTG is fierce and CarpeNoctumXIII’s Paul was too much for my Bryan lol.
Yeah, this game lags like crazy. I checked my signal strength today before I played and it said 100% but there diffenetly games where I was causing the lag. I would give a wired connection a try but I’m too lazy to rearrange my ethernet cable so that it’ll go into the living room. Anywho, feel free to add me to your list. I can’t play but online is so laggy that it doesn’t matter :).

Is it me, or is tekken REALLY laggy online? I can handle 3S on kaillera, but the delay in tekken is just horrendous. I once stood there at the beginning of a match doing nothing for a good second or two before my ewgf finally came out.
yup thats how it is. its very rare to get un-noticable/playable delay online.
lol I’m really bad at this game, I use king and find it difficult to do well so, my question is who is the easiest fighter to learn and do well with. I guess kinda like the ken of tekken 
Hey man, you weren’t all THAT bad, hehe. At least when we played, there was minimal lag. But to answer your question, I definitely would say King is a bit tough for begginers. You should try characters like Paul, Bryan, Law, Bruce, Jinrei. I find all those characters to be a little bit friendly than the rest of the cast, especially Paul and Bryan.

Some VERY good games to Dj-Clayface. The connection was great except during those rare lag spikes. Sorry I bounced but my bro wanted to watch some TV so I had to go. During that last match I chose Lily by mistake thinking that my cursor was still on Dragonuv so I lost since I don’t even know her movelist lol. Really awesome games man. See you next time.

I tried joining you and Clayface numerous times last night, but I kept getting the network error, as well.
I really hope Namco patches this problem soon so the lobby is as smooth and problem free as Resistance’s.
The only game I actually got to play last night was with DJICE- which was awesomely lag free. We played for over an hour and the quality never diminished one bit; I was actually able to pull off some nice juggles.

Yeah, I got on and made 5 wins in a row out of 5 games, I don’t really play tekken too much but honestly - either people aren’t good or the lag is making them not good, because I’m kinda terrible. I only play Asuka, is that like a cheap lag character to use or something? I mean honestly I really want to get into tekken though because I have fun playing it. It just seems like a crapshoot online, sometimes the game plays and sometimes it doesnt. I guess I just got lucky today.
Also, thanks for the tip on the media server thing, that helped a good bit.
