Oh man I just love not having a headset and listening to the BS from other people when you play.
So I decided to play around with Lili online and I roll into this voice chat enabled room. Long story short i proceed to beat the shit out of this guy and he actually thinks i was using the L2/L1/R1/R2 buttons to do Lili’s backwards flip and kick moves.
I felt pretty insulted but before he was gonna boot me, his friend decided to fight me to try and prove it was a fluke win. I proceeded to beat him too.
I ended up leaving the room just so i didn’t hear the guy bitching and moaning about me.
man, any character that wasn’t in tekken 4 or the original tekken5 just owns the shit out of me. its like i go brain dumb. their moves and strings just wont set in my head.
Tekken 5 Online Getting DualShock 3 Support In Latest Update
Namco Bandai hasn’t forgotten about you, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection Online players. Famitsu is reporting, by way of SDTekken, that the PlayStation 3 game is due for a patch that will see a handful of nice-to-haves added. In addition to DualShock 3 vibration support, new online tweaks, including a 1-on-1 “pickup match” and some lobby interface tweaks should be included in the software patch. There’s also talk of some point tweaking for your Dan ranking, but we’ll wait for the English language info on the update before we go and make arses of ourselves deciphering exactly what they are.
While I think the online mode still needs a lot of tweaking, this seems like a nice addition. I’d prefer to have a release date for the DS3 controller though…unless the date is set and I just haven’t seen it yet.
Just want to say whats up to everyone that posts on this thread. I just downloaded DR today, and played a few matches and had fun. I’m not good at all, but played Tekken alot up until 4 and now I’m trying to get back into it. If you see me online play me, and I’ll do the same with the regulars who post here. :tup:
i beat 4 room masters today with good ranks and they all booted me, man i swear this game is bullshit. it’s just people running around fighting dans and shihans all the time boosting their pts.
and with these bs connections at times jesus…lili is cheap online, i only lost today because this one dude just spammed those damn kicks.
I really really really HATE most everyone who plays Tekken online lol. I feel your pain Ephidal. I smashed this dragon lord like 3 times in a row and he/she resorted to picking King with the magic appearance of black bars and chain threw his ass off. When he wasn’t doing that he was doing the unblockable moonsault. Booting people out of rooms is just as a part of TDR as okezime.
lol Oh and if I booted anyone in this thread (Shinkuur I think I saw you), just know I SAW you in this thread so it wasn’t like I just wanted to boot you. It was out of pure frustration for how much Tekken sucks ass online. If there was no lag in that damn game I would be a fuckin Tekken Lord already…
Guh…here’s hoping Tekken 6 has MUCH better netcode.
