Lol I typed an emo messege before srk went down early this morning but yeah basically it was like most of the other messages in here ripping DRO about its lag. This one guy comes into the room and the lags the shit outta it when it had somewhat of a great connection.
So I just know this guy’s getting booted because he stayed on red. Host doesn’t boot em’, bullshit. I think I’m just going to settle some games against only srkers now, or just take a break from DRO. Combos I pull with anna ALAWAYS connect offline, but then I get online and the damn lag sets in like gravity or some shit. I know I’m a lot better at this game now than when I first played, and it’s just annoying not being able to show some stuff you’ve learned online.
I feel the same way, but don’t take it to the heart. This is the risk you take when playing DRO. Hell, I won’t even disconnect if the lag is crazy. I’ll take a lose or try to win. Either/or after the match I’m leaving. Not to say I won’t boot someone for lagging if I’m hosting. I was hosting earlier and there was this one guy who was real good(Warrior). The connection was fine with everyone then an 8th kyu came in and lagged the hell out of the game and beat the dude. He got the steel toe after that match. To bad the other guy left though before I could give him the boot. That’s the only reason why I’ll boot someone. There’s alot of players online with ranks they shouldn’t have cause of lagging.
Add me for some game. I play King and Raven, I am still adjusting to online lag but I was able to pull off a ISW combo last night. So I guess anything is possible if you have a good connection.
Good shit with ShinkuuR tonight. Had a blast playing. I hate Nina, though. EVERYTHING she did was too safe. =(
For some reason I wasn’t getting Cross Counter or d+3,4 out. =/ Other than that, that was the smoothest connection we ever had. Those Bruce mirrors were damn fun. lol
Okay so a couple of days ago I came back and played DR online after about two months of non-online play. Go into a room and i do pretty good in there after obtaining a 4 game streak and then i go to play this guy and he isn’t even on the controller playing.
I when people do that.
Yea that sucks homie, Tekken is one of those things you generally have to keep up with the right way if you want to have your t’s crossed and i’s dotted come tournament time. I jumped right into 3S against some (good) Dayton comp and was still whoopin that ass. Seems DR is a little different. Whenever you have a tournament coming up I would suggest at least space out 3 days before that you don’t play online. That worked out for me pretty well last time.
And my PS3 update: Just sent it out via UPS, so I should have a brand new one in the next 10 to 12 days. So for those of you (everybody) not keeping score at home, the next time you see me on PSN I’ll be able to play you in DR
You can’t just write someone off after beating them once… Let’s play online if I’m nothing special, I’ll record it and put it on my site. We’ll see who’s nothing special. Challenge me punk!
You don’t get points if you beat up on noobs… I guess a noob like yourself wouldn’t know that. I’m a Dragon Lord and I have to beat Champions and up to get decent points (100+ per match). He’s a Dark Lord so I take it he has to beat Destroyers and up to get decent points… “10 points” is the most you’ll get for beating up on “noobs” when you’re a higher rank, and you have to get a PERFECT or win all 3 rounds with no losses to get any points at all usually.
Ziggy is a good player. Don’t talk trash about good players just because they beat you.
He’s a skilled player, but because of his style of play in an online enviroment(using tackles and launching throws that’s hard as hell to break because of the lag) he’s not really respected.
