I already have taken another break again from this game, probably until the new patch comes over here.
i almost always get booted when i win. i can understand if i lag, but thats almost never the case. the only time i ever boot people are when they lag. rankings show nothing, if you get booted by the higher ranked people that you can BEAT then rankings mean nothing because obviously you can’t advance the way you should be. you might have deserved 4 wins off him instead of the only 1. then you get a couple unlucky losses to lag tactics and lose hella points.
thats why i dont really play anymore, maybe if i play people i know with good connections. shit i dont even care if its not ranked, i just want outside competition against people with good connections! its just so hard to find somebody you dont know that wont boot you after you win. and the people who don’t boot you, usually have retarded ass tactics that make you worse just from playing them.
I’m new to Tekken online. But am having fun on the most part. Am I right in assuming that it’s broken up into regions?
Since I’m in the PAL Territory and am from New Zealand I can only play Europe and Australia. You get European players challenging for easy win Lagg matches, which sucks a bit. Asia, Australia and the pacific rim would have a been a smarter move.
Going into a room with a local only to get challenged by some dude on the other side of the world is a pain in the ass. I hope they release a patch to keep better track of someones ping.

You’re wrong Frankie. If people win by just doing flips with Lili ONLINE, then they don’t deserve a win. It’s not just about winning online, Frankie. If you are using lag to win, then it’s not Tekken, it’s fucking LAGGEN. Would you like to rename the game LAGGEN? Ziggyfield is good in general, but online he changes his playstyle for lag abuse. He isn’t a good online player, but rather, a good in-person player. Of course, that is more important. He shouldn’t be a dick and lag-abuse though. Also, just because you have a high rank doesn’t mean you’re good. A vast majority of the lord of wars, legends and others that I see are Law players. I’ve personally owned a lot of them and they were complete trash. This is because they aren’t good, but rather abuse lag and people can’t do anything about it. If you think the top players that abuse lag are good, then you truly suck at Tekken. Of course, Law can be a good character, but not the way they lag abuse with him. They use the junkyard combo with him online. They move is FUCKING TRASH offline and you will get low parried on the second hit every time. Therefore, I would get a fucking launcher every time they did it. Would they win then? Hell no. They can get away with it online because of the lag and people can’t do shit about it. Do I call that a good player? FUCK NO. A good player is someone that can win offline, not just online. Tekken online is fucking trash and isn’t real Tekken. “He does what he has to do online to win” is the problem with people playing Tekken online. That just causes everyone to do stupid moves and whoever lag abuses better, wins. Like I said before, that isn’t Tekken and those dumbass moves DON’T WORK OFFLINE.
Of course, people with high ranks can be good offline too. Most of these players are people that talk on Tekken Zaibatsu and follow ettiquette. They win the same way they would offline. That don’t have to take advantage of something that isn’t really part of the game. Those are the players that deserve to win.
People get killed by Lili’s flips online because when they’re on the ground, they back roll or do anything else besides stand straight up to block it.
It’s not just that. It’s the fact that you can get hit by the first flip because your inputs are lagging and you get CH by it. If it’s lagging and I simply throw a 1,2 with Anna, a flip can come out of nowhere and hit me before I can block. This shit wouldn’t happen offline because my inputs would have came before the flips came out and I would have had time to block. DRO IS NOT TEKKEN.

LOL Man, you have been out of the loop for as long as I could remember. Those “rankings” don’t mean shit offline and online. You can beat a million scrubs to get into that top spot or abuse lag tactics(DRO is NOT stable by any means). It’s one of the many reasons why I stopped playing.

Aren’t you the guy I played the other night that uses Law, evilj82? If so, you need to stop using the junkyard combo man. That shit isn’t good. That’s just as bad as using Lili’s flips online. As I showed you, you can low parry the low kick on the second part of that combo. It’s just too laggy online to do it. BTW, why did you leave man? BTW, I accepted your friend request STD and it gave me some weird error. You’ll have to send it again. I’ve never had that issue before.
naw man it wasn’t me, i haven’t played DR online for months. I only played you once and it was terrible because it was the same day as you posted this (like january something)
haha yeah I don’t use the junkyard combo (only when i first started playing tekken in 2000), only in combos. Law has a bunch of safe moves. I’m not a noob. I’ve only met one person online who could actually play tekken well but he was not from srk.

Yeah, the googlesyndication thing was fucking weird. I don’t know where it was at on the network. It was definetely network-based and not computer-based. I’m going to have to figure which “evil” is the one that plays Law like a scrub. I probably sound like a huge asshole with all my posts, but it’s really just that DRO makes me mad because of how people abuse things. I’m a nice guy as long as people aren’t “being assholes on purpose :tdown:” just to win.
