i dont own a psp or anything and havent used one in a while… but how does the d-pad feel as opposed to a reg. controller? How different is it exactly? I read some stuff about modding the d-pad and all, but i mean… can one efficiently play tekken on these things? I cant even imagine someone wanting to play mishimas on PSPs
You would have to wear down the D-pad extremely well to even play on the default dpad.
I’ve tried playing Guilty Gear on a non-worn down one and it feels stiff, mainly because the corners are a lot more space out compared to the ps2 pad. Also add in the fact that the directions aren’t sensetive and soft, and you have super stiff sony dpads.

The game is awesome. It’s PSP’s new killer ap.
I spent last night playing it with my friend, Lili is my hoochie mama.
Her one throw where she does the loop and snaps your neck is too hoard.
The graphics are so very good for a handheld, and playing with someone else is mad easy. There is like no lag either.
It’s great.
If you have a PSP, go get it.
Now I just need to learn how to play with Steve and Lili. Right now I’m doing the dojo thing and getting moneys to pimp out my peoples. ( Lili with Prince of all Cosmos assist ftw )
Playing with the stiff d pad takes some getting used to, and will be frustraiting at first though. I need to get one of those mod things, or do it ghetto style with a penny and tape. ( or whatever the ghetto style of doing it is )

question to those who play this in the arcade and also bought the psp port: is this game arcade perfect?
i mean, it’s on the psp so it probably doesn’t really matter as much anyway but i was just wondering. being a tekken noob i can’t really tell anything… but this is really fun regardless so far. i’ve had multiple sand bagging sessions with a friend. the only gripe i have is that “clawing” on the psp is really uncomfortable so far. and i can’t really play unless there’s a table or on a couch where i can put up my knee in front of me. but i’d rather deal with it than doing a button binding. hell to that.
this is seriously like my new favorite fighting game. :lovin:
