Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Part 2!

Asuka is meh, no fast stuff

Lilli has some pretty cheesy stuff, but she’s susceptible to ss/sw

Meh is good enough for me ;p

Chibi, you’re going to CF for Tekken? good luck, the NYC players are mad hostile and talk shit 24/7, it made me not want to play the game acuse everyone is beefing all the time…

Haha, like that time Red almost wanted to kill someone because he didn’t block an obvious low

Yup. Nyc has lots of beef. Do to the jackass players we have done here.

I’m still doin ok with her, I gotta travel more though and play people who have good experience against her because I can still get away with parlor tricks against people (like when I was in MI) and it’s boring. Like I wasn’t even trying a lot of the time and didn’t even care even if I lost. I hate playing people that don’t know how to play against her. It’s not fun at all.

@ Art:

I’m not going to CF purely for Tekken, I’m attempting to go on weekly basis now just to better my game in much everything. 3S, CvS2, T5-DR, hell even VS and NGBC. I can’t stand playing in NJ anymore, growing some bad habits and I need variety man. That, and obviously NY > NJ.

@ Syxx:

Sorry to hear that man. I played a little bit with her at ECC, she still seems like fun so I’m going to stick with her. I’ll have to reprint your faq though, I’ve already lost it, haha. I believe there’s a few Lili players in NY too, so I might get some tips from them as well. Here’s hoping you get some fun back into the game man.

;p

Shou from Japan owning the best player from US.

search for norcalss in youtube.

^ Let’s not forget that Shou’s teammates got fucked up by Brian H and Chetchetty in that tournament.

Shou looks like a girl. He breaks throws like a maniac. I recall him just standing there during certain matches and waiting for you to fuck up. Chet fucking up mishimaster was definetly the highlight of the tourney though. Well, both of the other japanese players getting fucked up by pauls is pretty cool.

yeah, lol at some of those Shou matches, in one match against Chet, he literally dashed in, crouched, did nothign, dashed back out lol. He clearly seemed like he was on another level than everyone else there, but yeah the USA players being the oher Jap players is quite awesome too. imo, as always, USA always holds shit down despite the limited about of comp there is in USA for this game here.

Let’s make one thing straight… Chet is NOT the best player in the US…

jp: Those combos aren’t filthy’s combos…Just old TTT combos…

EDIT: Chet still gets props regardless.

stop sleeping on jpn plz
we’re stronger than you think
get the korean cock out your mouths

 QFT!

Sorry to go off topic, but i’m new to T5, and i was thinking of picking it up on PS2 since this game is starting to make me like Tekken again. (The last Tekken i’ve played competitively was T3…i skipped 4).

How are the tiers looking in T5 compared to DR? Is there a major difference (gameplay/balance-wise) in T5? Is it worth it? Or should i wait for DR?

(Btw, I also own a PSP).

was it qdans that got black tekken lord in japan or someone else from team korea?
im having some trouble adjusting to the new way side rolling and blocking while getting up works, i dont have dr closer then an hour away…any suggestions on how to prep for it? like situations as examples?:wasted:

Yes Qudans was the one that got Tekken Lord Black from fighting vs Shou of NoRespect.

So there are better players from US?

Even Qudans and Knee said Japanese top is very strong**(MSRryu/Heihachi&Anna, Taizo/Feng, Asano/Lei).**

Also they mentioned that Japanese best players are better with Feng, Heihachi, Lei and Ganryu than in Korea.

wow that’s the FIRST dr major in cali… I already know Chet placed 2nd…

If that was the case and you want to base it off of who won big then Crow was the best in the US in 5.0…

OH WAIT Bronson beat him in Trashday… FFS…

Damn Fernando, you’re just setting yourself up to get flamed.

If you posted exactly what you saying now on TZ you would get clowned hardcore again and get JM’s video spammed in your face 1000 times (since you’re talkgin abotu Trashday.)

I don’t understand why you had to go out of your way to say Chet is not the best in the USA? Yes, most people understand that a placing at one tourney does not equal #2 in the USA. So what? You should know this better than anyone - after all you placed 2nd in LI/CF and people called it a fluke win and no one gave you any kind of props (publicly).

But yeah, the thing that makes this the worst is the fact that you were going to go to norcal then you backed out because you said yourself that you don’t like DR anymore - and that’s the reason for you not coming. So why talk shit and argue after the fact? You didn’t do anything to challenge Chet’s palcement by not going (and Spero/BrianH at least WENT.) It doesn’t make sense.

Sure, “Chet gets props”, but any USA player that manages to beat a japanese player in any fighting game that Japan plays ultra-hardcore (DR is still #2 according to arcadia magazine), beating SBO placers no less, should get mad, mad respect. Yes, I know Tekken is different from SF, and we don’t get steamrolled by the JP’s as much in Tekken as we do in SF, but still.

So all I’m saying is Fernando, take a chill pill and step your own game up. You seem to have been playing alot of DR hardcore lately, hopefully you’ll use that practice for a high placing in the next big DR tourney.
