Damn bro that sucks…I won’t be able to make it out because since I just got here I haven’t gotten my blue/silver card that allows me to mingle off-base. Does SK live here on base or does he live relatively near the base? Also, if you could, before you head out let me know where the arcades are that you’ve visited since you’ve been here? Are they within a reasonable distance? Would you recommend taking a taxi from the base to the arcades are what are some names and what gates should I go out of to get here. Sorry, I know you’re not from the area/base and I’m not as well but I’m hoping you know more than me. I don’t have a phone and I don’t really know anyone here so I won’t be able to call you although I would like to head out and catch some games but you know my situation already. Damn, that sucks. I’m heading out in the morning, thanks to SK for meeting up with me and whooping my ass. I actually learned a lot from the anal raping the players gave me here and it definitely inspired me and motivated me to learn the game. It’s a lot different from CVS2, but the change is a nice one. Again, thanks to SK for showing me a lot of things with Tekken and squaring me away with where to play on the nights I got out.
Lei Mana: There is an arcade out Gate 2 that SK showed me with Tekken… walk straight out the gate and head towards where there is an overpass, make a left, and the arcade is down the block. Holla at SK and I’m sure he can get you into the scene here. If you aren’t near Gate 2, it’s a walk, but nothing too bad. There is a Sega arcade that I met up with SK at that had really solid comp (SK included) which is about 10 bucks cab ride from Kadena. It will start to add up quick so get a car or bum a ride or bike there or something. It wasn’t a problem for me with my ridiculous TDY pay, but I’m sure it would start to hurt the pockets if you plan to go there often.
Oh, and the tattoo parlor at Gate 2 does some great work. I got 3 tattoos while I was in Okinawa and the guy did all my work from scratch except for my duck tattoo which was pretty much my own design. Prices are good too. If you ever go there to get a piece, holla at Mistuaka - that guy is the shit.
Must fly to Okinawa…, but I can’t even beat most of the players in Bama. Maybe with school being out now I can finally get some play in. Nina strats anyone?

Bait jabs so you can ss+2 that shit. Make love to d/f+1+2 and d/f+12, those moves are the business. Let’s see, punish whiffs with b+1+4. You can sort of bait whiffs by doing d/f+1+2 on block and backdashing. d+4 and d+3 should be your lows of choice. Try to use wtf for oki only, don’t throw that shit out of nowhere; people will block it on reaction and make you cry. Use stfu if you want to high crush jabs or want to get lucky, it’s great on oki. Her throws are too good so try to throw some of those out, especially after ss+1~b. Fish for chs with b+4 which will gurantee a b+1+4 if it is a counter hit. Try to stay away from divine cannon and d/f+32. USE D/F+1+2.

If they send me TDY to Okinawa again I will kill some people. SK might like it, but I preferred Camp Zama in Tokyo a lot more. The Tekken scene out there is good, but not much else. If I stayed any longer I would have started look like a yakuza with all the tattoos I would have been getting.
lee’s b+33 is too good. Hitting two of those is more than half life, tack on that the first hit is safe and that it can be hit confirmed. Wait, it doensn’t stop there. It has great range, it’s mid, and did I mention that it’s hit confirmable? Too good.

Armor king is ok. Hes pretty damn linear and his oki isn;t really good.
Id say kings a better character then him and worth picking up over him.
…but Armor King has a Dark Upper that hits mid - I see people using that and setting that up from time to time. More people use King here though, so I guess it’s a sign. I don’t play either character so I can’t say much about them.
