Tekken 5 boss jinpachi and sub boss d. jin

Please tell me you’re joking, I know my post was ridiculous but that plot element just makes me want to cry

Nameingway, fair enough lol.

Time machine? I thought Xiaoyu just wanted her own theme park and to get in contact with Jin again (when he retreated to Australia)

That was Tekken 4, silly. In Tekken 5, she wants a time machine. Yeah I know, it’s both ridiculous and retarded.

Hehe, that’s an amusing rumour, but anyway regarding TTT, the US version was the better port from what I heard. The Japanese TTT was a launch title that was rushed, and like most of the Japanese launch games, it suffered from crazy jaggies and other horrible unspeakableness (okay, I’m exaggerating, it’s just the jaggies, but the jaggies are horrible to the eye, like Capcom or SNK abusing old sprites  ). For the US port, Namco fixed up the jaggies and that’s why the US TTT is silky smooth.

Anyway, regarding Jinpachi, according to many threads at TZ, Jinpachi died shortly before the first Tekken or something, and Heihachi preserved his daddy’s body because Jinpachi carried the Devil Gene (or whatever, I stopped following Tekken’s story after 3). And we all know that Heihachi missed out on the Devil Gene, and that it skipped his generation but oddly enough passed onto his son and his grandson. So long story short, Heihachi spliced Ogre’s DNA with his father’s and kept him in that basement that you see Jack attack intro of Tekken 5, and with the place blowing up, Jinpachi was finally able to escape.

So yeah that’s what I gathered about it, don’t know if it’s 100% accurate until Namco says so. But from the looks of it, that plot does make sense, well sorta.

Whoa. Jinpachi looks like the fusion of Heihachi, Braska’s Final Aeon (FF10), a SS4 dude, Shin Akuma, and the final boss of KOF2003. Weird. Anyways, he’s stil a better boss than the T4 Heihachi, though he’s probably as cheap as DOA2’s Tengu or some other bosses that are pretty big. Oh well…it’s still a good boss for the Tekken games, and I like the fact that there is a kind of endind when you beat him.

About Devil Jin, he’s the obvious combination of Devil Kazuya and Jin. He even comes with those cheap ass laser attacks. A nice sub-boss though. Tekken’s starting to go back to its Tekken 2/3 days, with good bosses and an even better mood.

Yes you could play as Devil Jin when teamed with Hei. When playing as Jin, if i remember right, hit b+1+2, 2,2,3. The command is something like that. You cannot walk if you want to stay as DJ, you have to dash around and there are some move properties that are changed like I think WGF hits mid or special mid.
