it’s not really 200 matches.
I played about 20 matches with my friend, came back and played about 40-50 and got devil jin. Much better tahn doing devil within probably.
this might be because you unlocked the characters you did in story mode. its cumulative, meaning all the rounds are added up and count towards the needed amount to unlock devil jin.
i’m not too worried about it. arcade mode is fun. (^_^)'
chances are i’m not even going to practice too much with devil jin, but i just want him for the sake of completing the squares on the character select screen, hehe.
Who is the character that is above the random select screen? is it devil jin or jinpachi? i unlocked everyone except that one thing. also isn’t eddy in the game?
i paused the game during arcade mode, but iirc its devil jin.

Eddie is the extra costume for christie. It costs $500,000 to buy in the character customize section, you must push traingle to select him. I got every single thing in this game and it’s all TOO GOOD! You’ll like it all once you complete it.
So, did they do any changes to the characters for console version? I remember in SC2 they did modifications to some of the characters (like Yunsung) to balance it more.
From what I hear, Jin needs this bad. They took away ALL of his safe moves (but at least they got the cheap-ass JFLS).
the only characters i’m ok with are paul and king.
i just cannot get used to the juggling system yet, at least with everybody else in the game minus king. paul’s shit is hard to me as well. =/ the opponent keeps getting too far to land the next hit.
ah well, nothing to do but to keep practicing/get faster.

Cards let you customize colors and items, as well as the name in the hit box.

Safest yes, although it only launches off a counter hit if I remember correctly.
Jin is still good, just alot harder to play.
Im not a big fan of Devil Within minigame, it got boring after I killed the 100th guy who looked the same. So yeah I havent got Devil Jin yet.
Did the Hei jab string everyone is bitching about, it is hella good.
Arcade mode would be a lot more fun to play, if they added Ghost AI from Arcade version.
Anyway Namco is putting real players AI and match vids(Famitsu:Tekken 5 Japan vs Korea) for Japanese console version of Tekken 5. :sad:

One other query we dont have heiachi in england yet and i dont have the game till friday so i just wanna know how hard is his ewgf because i’ve messed with DJ and kazuya and there’s seems easy well kazuyas seems a bit easyier not that it was hard in 4 but i remember heiachis in 4 was pretty damn tough so have they made any differeance to the timing? oh and omen thunder godfist any changes to that?

Any Asuka players in here? I have been playing her the last two days. Learned her command list and practiced some juggles. She is too good. I’m glad namco made her to replace Jun. I’m up to Expert in arcade mode. Btw what are all the ranks?
Im a Shihan but I dont play it all day. Asuka is strictly mid tier and I am an Asuka player. She doesnt have anything really abusable and you really have to know your matchups to beat someone who knows what there doing.
