The first 3 are slight changes, granted you could find something like the 4th picture there where they also look really weird but there’s no denying the look most people know is one of the first 3.

Crtainly, but they have had dozens of looks over the years,some good and some really bad, the point is that there relly isnt one official look for the turtles, cuz there really isnt.

The creators have givin them muliple looks over the years, the picture you posted is one of the least used looks the creators used, they movedpast it after about 4 issues.
They all had a consistency in their design and never looked jacked up which is the main point.

While I don’t really like the new turtles at all based on what I’ve heard and seen I get that it’s an adaptation (from producer Michael Bay which explains a lot) and not a 1:1 copy so it’s not wrong but at the same time it’s weird they’d deviate from the most iconic look.
I don’t like that they’re “pulling a transformers” and kinda sucking the life out of it to be “modern”.
Judging from peoples’ reactions to Transformers 4(including people that LIKED the previous films)… This movie is going to be a flaming pile of shit left on a doorstep at Halloween.

I don’t expect this movie to be canon at all, but I’m optimistic about it. I love all of the original books and own almost all of the original series up until they quit a few years ago. I hope they do incorporate all of the cool alien origin storylines, the TCRI aliens/utroms were my favs. Is it true that Kevin Eastman came back as an advisor?
