Too early to tell. Who knows how well they can get their offense going. I have more faith in Akuma’s ability to generate offens than Task’s. At the same time, they both can probably play run-away decently with projectiles and full-screen supers, as well as Akuma’s teleports and possible escape air tatsu, and Task’s mighty swing.
Plus, we don’t know their assists. We’d need that to really say anything about good teams for them.
Not gonna argue with that because it’s true, but in the same time, how many Clock players (or Strider players for that matter) do you know of that are as consistant with Strider?
I don’t mean have the same success, I’m talking about playing the team as smoothly.
As of now, I’m all for Wesker, Trish and Dormammu.
I’m gonna try Wesker as point and dish out a lot of movement and teleport fuckery while using Dorm’s dark hole assist. My issue that I foresee will be Dormammu having good back up. I’m thinking once Dormammu is out, using Trish’s air trap assist will keep me safe for a bit since I believe Dormammu should be fine handling the ground game and zoning…especially with what I believe is 2C (ground flame). If it don’t work out, oh well.
Team Clock requires a lot of work, but the pay off is good. But in the same time, MSP requires less work (Compared to Clock) and the pay off is greater.
I think when trying to make a good team, these are three things you need to consider. 1, does the team require a lot of work? (Y/N) 2, Is the pay off worth it compared to other teams? (Y/N) and 3, Why should I go with this team if the pay off for other teams is better?
Might be talking out my ass, but hey, I like a consistant top tier team.
one thing I disagree with; it’ll probaby be the usual suspects at the big tourneys. They might lose a few matches to gimmick teams, but not actually tournaments.
When did this thread go from “Which teams look strong” to “Which fanboy teams will I use on day one before switching to Storm/Sentinel like everyone else”?
