Let me stop this before it starts, if you plan on challenging first and foremost:

Secondly if you’ve been considered by cole looks at the list 30 by all means go for it, if ur not on that list please show us that you deserve a shot (at least top finishes @ zach’s, gc’s a few times etc.) One random outting isn’t saying much (gameworks).
Again congrats to the five, but be ready as you are now “hunted” by a majority of players, while I’m confident all 5 can hold their own to the rest of seattle, look for ppl to really try to step their game up to take them out.
Good games to everyone that came to Preppys last night. Im sorry i posted so late so a lot of folks still went to Japlno’s but thats ok. I think we still had about 35 heads there.
We were able to run an early 8 team 2v2 tourney. Mechaica/Row Rocked everyone and Won the 2v2 with El Fuerte/Dhalsim Team!! Single elim goodness!!!
Later during the night more people showed up and we were able to run a 32 man full bracket tourney that ended up finishing at about 6:30 but was EPIC as fuck lol. Was pretty much NW top 20 at least so there were rough matches from round 1!!!

I’m thinking top 5 people (who use 2 or more characters) should have their 5v5 characters selected and locked before the challenges start. Is this already the case?
So whats the real deal with the team? I’m gonna come hard at people right now…as of right now there is absolutely no chemistry in this team we have right now. I don’t know who’s ON the team, I don’t know how to CHALLENGE for the team…I don’t know whats up.
Update please? What is the plan…nearly 2 weeks now…and we haven’t been practicing as a TEAM. Not once have i EVER seen the team be in one place at one time. I need to hear people’s opinions (who are on the team and contenders for the team, not just everyone who thinks they should get a fair chance) on how to construct the strongest team possible.
If people start to post about how they want to challenge and shit and you haven’t shown strong tournament attendance, or if you have ideas of how the team should be…your gonna get struck if your not a player who’s actually contributed or done well. I’m tired of waiting, I want to see action, and if people are just gonna cry, your gonna get fucking struck by lightning.
I haven’t really said much in this thread. But really here is my two cents for who should be on team nw.
In general I agree this has been a completely confusing afair, so much so that I just stopped worrying about it. But beyond that I think at least to me a few of the spots are easy.

ScrubbyDan - It seems he is still going to evo so as long as he qualifies to play for the NW then he has won tons of tourney’s so should probably play.
BBH - Won Portland Tourney’s plus did well for the one time seattle came down so allow him.
After that I don’t really know but I would assume the next two winingest players in seattle should go as long as there is no problems. Its so close to time to play you can either decide it now, or do what sabre is doing and hold an impromptu single elim tourney for the people who to try for all the spots that aren’t cole at evo, it seems like its the only way to go.
Read above…your gonna get struck, …We have a better Bison then BBH, his name is Frank, SCrubby Dan said so himself, and it’s apparent that you don’t realize that Dan is wavering between quitting SF, or going to evo…as of right now, we’re not sure what he wants to do. I don’t think BBH should be on the team since he has no chemistry with us on the team, however, I’m not the captain. I’m sorry Ross, but your opinion is invalid

EDIT: Let this be a reminder to people who have “2 cents”… only put it in if you’ve had strong CONTRIBUTIONS to the scene, strong attendance, strong player, etc.
My whole personal view on the team is that the team lacks a strong starter and a strong anchor from the team that was listed.

To me, I think either King or Mickey needs to be on the team from a structural standpoint as a starter. This is where having King would be great because you have to figure that the likelyhood of a team starting Sagat is low. Zangief becomes a hell of a lot more plausible at this point. I believe it’s a good gamble cause Zangief could provide us with a good lead (imo). I think the best team structure character wise consists of top tier/wildcard character/wildcard character/top tier/top tier. Dan without question would have to be anchor. Now if King or Mickey and Dan were thrown into the mix, the team could achieve this. However the question then would become, who gets replaced? That’s where things get cloudy. But at the very least, Dan HAS to be on the team.

i have a suggestion…
i think putting LTB first would be a good idea because most teams would probably send out their worst player or a player that isnt as solid as the rest of the team to go first, so most likely that 1st and 2nd player of the team would make the most mistakes and where LTB would capitalize those punishments since he plays extremely defensive and safe.
and probably BBH in the middle because his rushdown style might just counter those who plays safe but not as solid as the anchor. rushdown works sometimes but doesnt really cut it against incredibly solid players like Jwong imo
but hey i dont know if we can change the orders so haha shit

Socal and Midwest have their teams decided. Norcal listed three of their members already (you have to assume Choi is on as well). I dunno about EC, Southwest, Southeast, or Wildcard.

on a real note though, there needs to be a gathering of the potential top 5… mickeys right, where are the sessions? where are the meet ups to talk about strategies? where? i know everyone is playing, but there needs to be a synergy between them so they can be like “lemee go 2nd, cuz blah blah blah” if the team doesnt know how each other plays, they cant give out advice on match ups (since i think team-team coaching is allowed, correct me if im wrong).
I’ve been placing well for the last 2 months and I’m pretty confident in my game right now. But honestly team NW has so many good players that I don’t feel I even need to try to get on the team at this point because I know yall will rep. I just hope you guys can get a team with at least enough chemistry to meet up and train.
