After I finish up some anime series and burn them to a DVD to free up room, I’ll give the game another shot after updating it.

It has gotten MUCH better since the last time I played. And I had a lot of fun with SRKers last night. Anyone listen to the dev commentary on any of the maps yet? Very interesting stuff and you may even learn a new trick or two.
Goddamn, I love the crap out of this game. The most fun I’ve had with a shooter since my two year obsession with Counter Strike. I love the visual choices, the design of the maps, the pace … all of it. Still needs some balancing and bug fixes, but I can overlook those things.
My steam name is “bear”, if anyone wants to add me. I play way too damn much, to the point where I’m falling behind on work. Might as well go play now instead of pretending to do something more useful.

Question, Ok so i have Half-Life 2 and Episode 1… are they still going to sell just Episode 2 that comes packed with TF2 and Portal?
Because i’m gonna be pissed if i have to re-fucking-buy the games i already bought… for something that should have came with Half-Life 2 to begin with.
So is there going to be some kinda league for TF2? I’d really want to play in something like that. Possibly Team SRK? haha.
There used to be a plan to sell a set without HL2 and Ep1, but I think they canned it. But $50 for the three things you get still isn’t a bad deal at all, plus you can give the extra copy of HL2 and Ep1 to someone else (or maybe even pawn it to them)
You can still buy Episode 2 by itself…on steam.

Man. What is the deal with shitty engineers who build SGs in entirely useless spots, sit back at the base when we’re pushing for a new point, then whine about the people playing offense? Word of advice, Engineers – detonate devices that aren’t useful anymore, pick up the scrap metal, and move forward. It’s the exact same concept as towering in WC3, or any RTS game. And if you have two engineers who can do this effectively and watch for sappers, you can push a lot harder. Waiting for your team to do poorly enough that they get fought back to where your original SG is waiting is a bad choice. And your score will be ass as well.
And with Pyros as strong as they are right now, giving them an uber is pretty hilarious.
I can’t believe I’ve already spent over 50 hours on this game. Ha.
Word, I know what you mean. Also on my list of peeves, when one guy has a mic and takes it upon himself to give orders to everyone… I need a mic.

we need to get together one night and just SRK rush a server. would be awesome. 
That would be fun, but hard to get everyone on at the same time, stupid timezones.
Sorry I had to leave after only a few games Koogy, but I had to get to the store. We mad rushed down that last game, when you were scout and I was pyro, I think we capped all 3 points.
