I’ve got the game on both but much prefer using a controller for FPS games. Yeah I know kb, mouse is better. I can’t do shit on it and don’t want to bother putting in the time to adjust. If anyone wants to play hit me up sometime I’m always down. I’m on randomly in the evenings.
You can setup a controller/joystick for the PC version…but that if you want to do that.
The SRK group is invite only…so someone would need to invite you.

I may pick up the game for PC, looks like I can run it. Don’t know when I’d be able to play it though. Hard to pass up 20 bucks though.
IMO it’s a very good buy for the PC…especially with the extra achievements and Goldrush coming to PC version first.
Don’t know if you played alot of the 360 version, but I think the PC version gets patched more often.
And what’s cool is that you not only have a hardcopy of the game…but also a digital copy via steam.
Yeah, I should be able to run that. I have an AMD 64x2 dual core 4100, 4 gigs of RAM, Radeon 3850 HD, and all that.
The thing is I HATE Steam. Hate it. I can run Half-Life 2/Episode 1 fine, but IDK how Team Fortress 2 will run on my PC.
IMO, if you can run HL2/Episode 1/Portal…then you can run TF2 fine.
Might have to pick up the PC version too.

Speaking of whether your comp will play or not, there have been FPS issues since the game went out of Beta. I’m talking like people with great rigs and getting 30 or less FPS. I’ve been keeping up with this thread on the steam forums:

Of course since nobody wants to read over 100 pages of too many complaints and too few solutions, ask here and I’ll see what I can do to help. For me in particular though, even I’m not satisfied with my current FPS after so much tweaking. Apparently Valve is still “working” on the issue.

Yeah, totally worth it. Are you still playing WoW? Anything to take your time away from WoW is probably a good thing.
