Yeah, I fucking hate that lol
I always try to put my exit at the beginning of their sewers and everytime I get there, a spy starts sapping my sentry

I’ve been trying to get an entrance up in the opposing room with an exit into ours, so you can just grab the flag and teleport(not even sure that’s possible, since I’ve never actually tried it)
I don’t think I’ve tried it either, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a flag carrier couldn’t use ports.
For the most part…I tend to have bed experiences with CTF maps as Engineer.
At the start of the game, I ask a Demo or Pyro to stay with me at point while I put up a Dispenser, lvl up my turret. Of course no one responds…and in comes an enemy soldier, scout, or the worst part…spy. GGPO my buildings and myself. They score the point…effortlessly mind you, and for some reason I AM to blame. Why me? Why am I the only person defending the intelligence? Why am I the ONLY FUCKING ENGINEER WHO DOESN’T WANT THE ENEMY TO SCORE???
Maybe I’m just taking this game too seriously, but I don’t like the lack of communication on some servers.
Still…Engineer has become one of my favorite classes to play. I really enjoy cracking enemy spies in the back with my wrench.
Take it like a man…
^^
Even though TF2 is a TEAM based game, it doesn’t happen on every server, and that’s just something you have to learn to deal with. There’s been so many times where I’ll play medic on dustbowl or gravelpit and I try to find a halfway decent Demoman to take out sentry groups. For some reason you’ll get the moron demo who tries to shoot pipebombs at it instead of stickies, or they chase around enemies and get nothing accomplished. It’s even more annoying when you’re telling them over the mic, “SHOOT THREE STICKIES AT EACH SENTRY AND DETONATE!!!” Yes, it’s frustrating to see no teamwork in a teamwork setting, but that’s just something that comes along with playing on public servers. I think I might get a few games in this afternoon. Post up your steam account names (mine is WildKittyv1 I believe, or just Wild Kitty), so post up your nicks or let me know if you’re in the SRK steam group.
Does team fortress still lag like crazy on the xbox 360? We tried it a few months ago with my friend’s copy and it was TERRIBLE
who the fuck plays TF2 on 360? scrub
Last time I played about a month ago it was fine. I belieeve they released a patch to fix the problem.
I know that Chairhome is one of the admins of the group…but I think we can invite whoever.
Here are my TF2 Stats…
Probably the classes I feel the least comfortable with are Demoman and Sniper. Spy can be tough to play since spy checks are quite easy to do.
I’m probably most comfortable with Engineer and Pyro. Starting to get into the Medic and Soldier gig as well. And Scouts are nice to use at times since you’re like an annoying bee. Managed quite a few kills with the bat at one time.
And Heavy’s Sasha kicks ass. Too bad the major downfall is that you’re a big fat target for Spies and Snipers.
Scrub these nuts. When I give a fuck what you think, I’ll let your girlfriend know. As soon as she’s done swallowing my dick, she can come up for air and tell you.
Cool, thanks. I borrowed the orange box and wanted to try it out. I haven’t played team fortress in years.
With the obligatory insults out of the way, do you have a worthwhile insult to throw at me?
Circuit City is having Team Fortress 2 for the PC at $19.99…this week only.
So those who haven’t gotten it yet…it’s a good chance to try.
This weekend, I discovered the beauty of Team Fortress 2. Finally, after all this months of playing Halo 3/Call of Duty 4, I found a game that actually requires TEAMWORK. It is so perfectly balance, and everybody is fun to play('cept the Medic, but somebody gotta do it). Sentry is fucking your team up? Play a spy and destroy their little fortress. Sniper on a roll? Get a scout to zoom over their and rape with the scattershot. Control point inprentrable? Change into a Heavy and get a medic to come storm the base; you become a human battering ram(and don’t even get me started on Uber; once thats on GGPO defense).
Valve always makes the most polished single player shooters in the Half-Life series, but for them to do the same thing in multiplayer is something else. There are no cheap weapons, no annoying perks. Its the most balance shooter I have ever played(and I played everything from Marathon to Halo 3).
Only thing I wish was that it had more maps. I got the 360 version, so I only the six default ones. I know the PC version has Badlands and that new Gold Rush mode coming in April. I sure hope Valve doesn’t forget about us loyal fans who don’t have the right equipment to run TF2 on the PC.
Oh, and the Spy is the most fun thing…ever. Run into the base and ruin everybody shit, then whip the blood off your suit and straighten your tie like James Bond.
Welcome to the TF2 Experience…
Glad to be here; too bad I got the 360 version instead of the PC one.
Plus, we are like actual opposites when it comes to player preferences(HATE being the medic, but Spy/Soldier is badass).
Well if you can, the PC version is $20 ay CC this week…IMO, well worth the buy.
When you go online in the 360 Version…is it EA’s mayching service, or is Steam incorporated?
so how would I go about joining the SRK group? here’s my profile
my TF2 stats are messed up since a buddy of mine used my account for a while. I use Medic/Soldier, so those stats are accurate (I “beat” his previous records, etc). I never use Demo/Scout/Engi/Sniper, so those stats “belong” to him.
Hopefully we’ll get some games in soon.
Hit me up when you play, I have it for 360 but no one plays it:wtf:
