The pyro has basically been reduced to a flame-puff-axetinguisher machine. He’s probably got a 9-1 matchup vs. Natascha Heavy atm. Absolutely stupid the way they nerfed him.

the BB is exactly the same as it was before the update. the BB was considered useless then too. its still useless.
i was worried i got the wrong medal too but the steam forums says its showing up wrong for EVERYONE
Well it’s just as it was before, but the fire from the regular flame thrower is 20% weaker now. So strictly speaking, the fire from the BB is more damaging than the regular flamethrower. The thing is, I still think that they need to give people more incentive to use the BB the right way – dunno, at least they’re still trying to mess with it.
The lowered flame strength combined with the 6 second flame duration and the Heavy buff makes axe kills a much bigger pain in the ass than it used to be.
I’m rolling with the Backburner nowadays. I guess it’s back to the old Vanilla tricks.

ok it seems i got a silver medal for getting the orange box on xmas (yep my start date is listed as Dec 25, 2007) even though the 3 months AFTER retail release should be until Jan 10, 2008 (since the orange box came out in Oct 10, 2007)
so valve hosed everyone who got their game as a gift for the holiday
