I’ve been off the TF2 wagon for a while, I need to change this. Somebody should kick my ass hardcore style at the game this sunday. Unless it’s Jammar. I’ll kill Jammar so many times his head will spin, in fact, I’ll counter-spy just in case Jammar is in the server under a different name.

You’ll probably not care but that’s a pretty unfair statement- headshots, airshots and meatshots on opponents expecting you to land your shots are not by far as easy as doing the same shit on a pub. Though, since the TF2 scene is fairly small, especially at the top, you’ll know the people and know they rape, so seeing them killed in spectacular ways is more impressive to an “insider” I suppose.

Holy shit, I was playing Sins of a Solar Empire. When I came to, it was 12:30.
Hm, I understand why it’s amusing. However, I look at them in a different way, so it’s really my fault. I hope to see something creative with the game’s mechanics or something that doesn’t typically occur in TF2. I understand that there is deep psychology in some of the TF2 frag videos where people kill a well-known player by outsmarting them or getting very difficult shots. But to me it’s too repetitive. Strictly speaking it’s the same thing shown over and over. It’s fair to say that I can’t understand the work they put into it, I would just rather see a different type of video altogether. For instance, Don Newman’s shenanigans are entertaining. Of course they’re not done on well-known or good players by any means, but they’re different than what is normally shown so that makes it amusing for me. For instance, if people don’t like combovideos because they aren’t tactically useful, that’s totally their choice because at the end of the day, they’re right – combo videos are not useful or something to learn tactics from.
Fair enough, I agree that these frag-reels aren’t very exciting (I should know, I made 7 of them :D), and I wish people would show what really makes comp TF2 what it is- but teamwork doesn’t display too well, so people go back to making cs/cod4-like montages…oh well.
