It’s regular 12 vs. 12 TF2 with votemapping, virtually every map is played. It’s the only community I’m a regular of and everyone’s really nice and inviting. Very mic friendly and I’ll be on pretty much every night.
That kill 3 people with the picaxe without healing is fuckin broken. I did it twice and didn’t get shit. First time i got 4 within seconds, which was awesome. So fun beasting people in one hit with that thing

There is a significant difference in playing a 12v12 from a 8v8 or something smaller. You should give both a try.

Also me and jammar (I saw someone mention him) use to be on the same team, but now he got really nerdy and plays TF2 all day.
Also there isn’t such a thing as noob friendly pub servers. All pub servers are noob friendly.
So far I like it. It’s definitely better than starting off outgunned and just relying on class vs class or grp vs grp. I’m having a little trouble as a soldier against heavy chars, especially when teamed with a medic. You’d think that direct rocket hits would kill someone but they brush it off. What should I do when I meet up with them?
This is very true. Back on the Xbox 360, the game’s standard was 8v8. Engineers were WAY more common (you usually had two per eight-man team), simply so more ground was covered. In a lot of games, Snipers were near-useless, simply because the rate at which players passed in front of the sniper-friendly areas was so rare (and especially in games like 2Fort, you would have people simply mix up the sewer/battlement entrances to the enemy base and there was little they could do).

after pubbing almost all day Ive came to the conclusion that:
- the chargin targe is fuckin godlike, especially with that damn eyelander. it boosts the demomans offense so much its ridiculous.
- there’s no point of not wielding a pickaxe with soldier.
- with every other class having an update, the engi’s learning curve has skyrocketed. Playing battle engi or offensive engi isn’t nearly as effective as at least before the update IMO.
you almost literally cant kill a heavy if a medic is behind them. Your best bet would be to try and get to higher ground and aim for the medic, preferably staying out of the heavy’s view, or maneuvering around him.
Engineer is one of the other classes I wanted to play, actually…with no Engineer update, it’ll be hard to enjoy anyone other than Sniper and perhaps Heavy.
im pretty sure an engi update is on the way. I sure CAN wait until that happens, considering when it does come out, there will be a shitload of ppl playing engi to get those acheivements. sentry farms for days.
like now in general demoman is getting much more play than before, especially since the new weapons are useful and mad fun to play with. soldier not so much tho AFAIK.
I just got the direct hit yesterday. Almost creamed my pants because of the awesomeness. Now with that bitch…it might just be possible to get 3 doms in one life if you hang back and snipe the shit out of groups. That achievement is gonna be a bitch. Watch me get it and it glitches out like some of the other achievements…
For those who care, my server is almost ready. Tryin to get hlstatsx up and shit. I’m gonna open it prematurely after that so some stuff may not be up to par…cuz tf2 servers are new to me. I’m pretty much trying to emulate the sourceop no mods server.

No random crits aren’t allowed in competitive play, who wants to get randomly killed with their medic because someone rolled the dice right. Also, brings more worth to Kritz and jarate.
Oh i see, thats good. I thought people would argue that random crits are a part of the game and should be allowed. same way srk did with smash bros and items lol. I like that they’re off tho.
