Also, as reference, you don’t need to see stickies laid by the Scottish Resistance, you just need to be facing in the general direction of where the stickies are. I went from red base of Fastlane, planted mines scattered about, went to the Blue base, detonated, and they all exploded. I think the “detonating area” is rougly 1/4 of screen lenght and height, in middle?
Also Valve lies. You can only plant 14 mines, not 16 (8*2).

Another one, direct hit with crit rocket, then 2 rockets for splash, and he lived.

@scout and sandman…why wouldnt they just fucking give back the original bonk capabilities…give 125 health back, but take away dmg from the bat…like almost all melee capabilities from it, even make it like 1 swing every second or so. That sounds fair to me.
In other news, my SNK TF2 server is going live today. 26 slots. Will be normal rotation and no mods as of now till i figure out what i wanna do with it. I’m hype. My klan is huge and we really only play css. But i bought one of my admins tf2 and get got hooked, then got about 5 others hooked…they’re all fuckin hype about it.

You’re looking at it all wrong though, sure it helps demo live versus soldiers (and if you had hit him with the crit rockets, he might be able to survive only one unless he’s fully charged with his eyelander and overhealed by a medic), but I’m torn through like paper mach by Heavies, Engy Shotgun, Scouts, soldier shotgun, basically anything with bullets due to the fact that I’ve dropped my max health by going shield/sword. There is no way it is OP. If you want to talk OP, lets talk about a rocket launcher that can one shot most of the classes in the game ; )
On top of that, I’m giving up what is widely regarded as the cheapest weapon there is, sticky bombs, in order to achieve that. When a demo goes sword and board, he’s really becoming a 10th class that is focused on melee, which I’m having a lot of fun with. But he’s nowhere near OP.
As I heard it put best on a server last night, “Targe Demos are the new pyro.”
I can safely say that the Eyelander and the Chargin’ Targe are not overpowered. Then again, I’m a Sniper. Nine times out of ten, if you are a Demoman, then a Sniper is not your concern.

Yes, but there are classes who will pursue a Sniper before a Demoman will. I’ve gotten killed by more Spies, fellow Snipers, and Soldiers before Demomen.
We did some shit with the targe in the last couple days. Heavy owns it for free. In all seriousness, the natascha slows it down and kills a demo about half way through, and the minigun just rips him up as soon as he gets to mid-range. The sandman absolutely stuffs the targe (literally stops him in place). And a charging demo is a free headshot for a mediocre sniper.
What the targe really does is give him a good matchup vs. soldier and a neutral matchup vs. pyro.

Then I stand corrected if the targe is only meant to block rockets. I thought it blocked everything…but even with the soldier shotty, those bitches don’t go down. How much does the targe block on rockets? I haven’t had the pleasure of utilizing it yet.

The coins specify what you end up making if you want to specify. For instance, if you combined 3x refined metal you’d get a random hat.
If you combined 4x refined metal with a Spy class token as well you’d get one of the three Spy hats. There are slot tokens too which basically define what kind of item you’re making (do you want it to be an item that’s primary, secondary, or melee?).
Right now I have a Spy class token and one refined metal. FML. That took 31 items to get those two things.

Boots are accessible by finding via random drop or a 50/50 chance when you combine Soldier class token, Secondary slot token, and a piece of scrap metal.
Gunboats are random drop…
They should allow trading…thad be tits. I havent gotten one fuckin hat drop…ever.
