I actually played Dustbowl CP earlier and that shit was rough. Like you said, there were hella stickies just lining the ground…but the tougher thing was the sheer number of soldiers attacking all three exits from the spawn.
Shit was brutal.

The server I was on had a 4 class limit : ( so I only got 53
yeah I only got like 20 on another different pub where people were playing normally
but I’ve done my part for the cause.
I gotta say this is already the best update yet

Demoman’s going to win it. Simply because every other server I’ve been to has like 7 soldiers, and 2 demos, and the 2 demos are doing marginally better than the 7 soldiers who can’t rocket jump, splash damage, etc.
On the plus side, I’ve killed 157 Black scottish cyclopses.

As a Pyro player, I’m loving this “update”.
Good demomen are fucking scary. Jumping all over the place and denying like fuck. Pill Bombs are just as good as rockets man.

the 7 soldiers may individually have less kills than the 2 demos, but cumulatively I think it’ll balance out.
but yeah that’s part of why I did so well last night. Server I was on everyone went soldier, but it’s not their main class, while I was demo which I consider to be my strongest class and cleaned up.
I think I had 6 doms at one point. It was a crazy good game for me

Nah, pill bombs are good, but nothing in the game is as good as the rocket fire for fire.
Edit: So if I make a training map on solo that spawns nothing but demos my kills won’t count?

I just played on a server where the medic basically told our team he wasn’t healing demomen.
Which is funny since he picked the team with majority demomen on it, as opposed to the other side which was mostly soldiers.
I’ve also seen a bunch of people just run around and do nothing to get killed in an attempt to contribute to other people’s war counters.
I didn’t see alot of it but like with everything, there are people who have to make something really gay
Yeah I’m noticing this. There were a couple of demomen on the opposing team that just gave themselves to soldiers. Don’t get me wrong, I’m supporting soldiers in this one but it doesn’t mean that people should stop being a team.
The demos looked up and shouted “Save me, Mate!” and I’ll whisper…

Yeah, I had this happen to me. Guys had [SOLDIER] tags on them. They hung out in teams of three and, indeed, when they played medic, they wouldn’t heal demomen.
Soldiers are ahead by a clean 100,000 kills.
While I personally am fighting for the Soldat, I honestly predicted Demomen to be in the lead.
