Yeah, as of now, the others are definitely on his level. Reptile, Yaug, Jaeger, and Seagull are definitely top. Rocketsurgeon is notable too, along with a slew of other great soldiers.
I guess. I just believe that 32-man servers are much more prone to noobery than any other servers. Pyros and Demos have a huge advantage with such large player counts.
I don’t find the people on SourceOP to be amazing most of the time. More like they know how to play and there’s a couple of really good players.
I’ve been enjoying the Bar Room a whole lot lately. They don’t give a fuck what you say/spray and they have some really talented players on all the time.
When I pub I just snipe or screw around so 32 man servers don’t really bother me but yeah, they lend themselves to massive amounts of spam and can get old really fast.
As far as SourceOP goes, the players aren’t GREAT per se but generally they aren’t completely retarded either. Sometimes that’s all you need. Going to that server is more sentimental for me than anything though.
A few other pubs I like to drop by are the FPSB pub and Texas Team Players. Another pub a few of my friends have taken a liking to is the CP Heaven pub, all cp maps and no other random shit. The downside is that it includes dustbowl… and fuck dustbowl.

Nobody who is good at the game mains 32 man servers, except for when they’re just messing around. Like has been stated numerous times, the game is balanced for around 24 man servers, anything more than that and the game balance goes out of whack

I am sick and fucking tired of bad spies. If I join one more server and I have 5 Spy team mates I’m going to rage quit from life.

It’s a catch 22. Unless you’re semi-pro, or in the right place at the right time, you probably wont be helping your team much as Spy. It’s the same with the Sniper, but to a much lesser extent.
The thing is, Spy is just too damn fun! Maybe it’s the Voyeur in me, but I LOVE it when enemies just walk by me without noticing. I LOVE it when the guy I’ve been stalking for 3 minutes has his back turned to me while the guy he’s healing is trying to take out a Sentry. I love to use the CnD to get behind enemy lines and feed intel to the rest of my team. Valve knows about the difficulty for new spies, so they’ve been buffing him up like crazy lately. It doesn’t seem to be helping much, though.

My thoughts exactly. I am a horrible spy, no doubt about that. Hell, I am a pretty bad TF2 player especially with having to play handicapped. But there is nothing like that sweet sound of that blade going through someone’s back and the screams of pain that come with it (my all-time favorite is the Engie). Just watching that poor little man bang his wrench, as he cautiously steps away from his sentry every now and then is pure entertainment. Then when the price is right, you mess him and his shit up.
Definitely going to main spy when I can play 100%.
