Sorry to say but your soldering is horrendous. Looks like you bridged D- and D+ if not D+ and GND on either side. There needs to be a clear separation of all soldering points. I would start with that. Get a multimeter and test for continuity between solder points. It shouldn’t beep or show 0 unless you’re testing 2 ground points. You only showed the USB points, i would like to see the 20pin connector spots too and also on the PS360+
Thanks for taking a look. I know my soldering is horrendous. ITs my first time soldering. I think my 20 pin header is good. I had a professional solderer do the job and now my stick is back up and running. Havent received my PS360+ yet.
Phreakazoid: I just finish hooking everything up and It lets me plays it on xbox360(usf4) but when I try to play ki on xb1 it doesn’t do any thing, like its dead, lights don’t light up, I even held down mp button but nothing, I plug it back into 360 and it detects it right away but not my xb1, I followed your you tube video to the “t”!! Is there a trick to make it detect Xb1 or should it be detecting it right away? Any help would be awesome!!!
Pictures of the install would be super helpful. Do you have the invert jumper set? What is your “switch” input set to? Holding MP won’t do anything on plug in unless that’s your switch input, and if you have the invert jumper soldered it’ll default to PS360+ mode and then you have to hold your switch input to swap over to XB1. Also, make sure you always test on PC to get the best feedback, using the systems alone tends to give mixed results at times.
The board is common ground, so it’s easily modded AFAIK. I hadn’t planned on making one but I could certainly do it if there was a large enough request. Do something similar, just break out all the points and give the USB routing needed for a single wire multi-console mod.
I don’t actually have a PS3/PS4 variant to work off of right now. Unless @MarkMan has one I can tear apart I dunno if I’d even be able to get one at this point.
I finish at 3 am on a work night was a lil tired, I’ll look over things this afternoon and I’ll post detail pic’s of job, let me know if there’s a mistake I over look at! thanks again, Phreakazoid
I’ll post pics up at 530 pm(pt) today
so I took pic, then I went back to see if there was anything lose or a short of some kind, when I plug it into my pc it reads as ps360+ no xbox, then I went back and unplug 360+ and pc doesn’t even detect it? what you think?
Well with invert soldered you should be able to plug it in with nothing held and it’ll default to xb1, so that’s a little weird.
Use a multimeter and make 100% sure you don’t have a short on Switch to ground. And that there’s no short from Invert to switch, the invert solder blob seems a little sketchy.
Check and double check your cable that it’s fully in.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by unplugging the 360+. You just mean the stick’s USB cable right?
So I have a TE2 that is working well with a Crossbone and a PS360+. XB1 is primary, with the 360 as sys2. Even updated the firmware on the PS360+ all by myself!
But here’s my question: what is the dead simplest way to add a padhacked PS4 to this toolchain? I don’t really need any kind of auto-switching logic as the TE2 is easy enough to open up and flip a switch. Is it as easy as wiring the PS4 pads inputs inline with the wires that connect the 360+ and the crossbone, and adding a switch on the D+/D- lines to switch between the 360 and the ps4 pad?
